Hard to beat, mellow, low acidity espresso and nice latte art. There are several locations and we enjoyed several (Downtown and Yaletown). Do double check hours as the location downtown (Hornby street) wasn't open on saturday 7:15 am as it said online. Surely worth a try and was busy on business days.

It's recommended by hotel concierge as one of the most breakfast places. I ordered smoke salmon egg Benedict, it tasted very good, the egg pouched perfectly, hollandaise sauce also very yummy. Only wish the salmon could be a bit more(-;

I love the coffee that Caffe Artigiano makes - its flavor is miles above Starbucks, which I find too strong. This particular location can get a bit noisy when it's full.

After reading stellar reviews, I was anticipating truly superior coffee. The coffee was ok, not great, and the muffin that I had (breakfast) was dry as dust. Perhaps the key was to order something along the lines of a latte or cappuccino, I simply had coffee. It was a nice inside space.

We lost our Caffe Artigiano in Victoria a couple of years ago. Let me tell you, we sure miss our favourite coffee. Their roast isn't acidic or burnt tasting. A slight taste and aroma of chocolate and berry. Such a treat.

We had caffe mocha and the flavor was top notch and the barista made a nice heart on top of our drink. The temperature was spot on and the espresso was not burnt.

When you are from Melbourne, it is hard to find good coffee, and this was better than some, but not fantastic.

Nothing special here, just another Starbucks or blendz. Average coffee, average and overpriced baked goods

We went to the one on Hornby to meet a colleague who had recommended the coffee. He was right, it is good coffee, but as we also wanted breakfast we were disappointed by the limited breakfast choices.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
