We were hungry and we read the menu on outside table. So in we went and were treated to the beautiful vocal cords of Louis Armstrong (satchmo) singing Caberet as we were greeted by host/ server. I felt like I could have danced to our table. I enjoyed Cajen chicken as a focaccia presented with side salad and pasta curls.... More

My companion ordered a salad and I went for a burger. Holly cow: this was the worst ever burger of my live. Similar feeling for the salad from my companion. We were hungry and had no energy to go somewhere else, so we ate! The burger was like a rubber disk and the chicken in the salad was frozen. After... More

My brother-in-law said this was a great place for lunch on Granville so I was a bit surprised to find the place desserted at around 12:30ish on a Friday afternoon. The rather dark and dingy place with strange decor did not put me off - actually thought it was a bit bohemian. The owner/server was pleasant enough and the food... More

Good, cheap place for dinner or lunch. Good drink specials! Owner is an older gentleman, very sweet man! I had a ceaser salad with salmon and it was awesome. Definitely a good little place for a quick meal.

I have been frequenting Tafs Cafe in Vancouver for at least 10 years now. I can attest that both their food and service have maintained a consistently high standard the whole time! Their menu is simple (in a good way of course!) but I have tested pretty well everything, and cannot find fault in any selection so far....except I was... More

We got the burger and beer deal for $10CAD. The burger was tasty and came with a salad and the beer was a local beer. I really liked it

Taf's has wonderful and fresh food, great service and super prices. It is also very conveniently located in the Granville entertainment district. I have had lunch there many, many times and will again in the future.

Staying in Granville Street

Neighborhood Profile
Granville Street
Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs and watering holes that it's fondly nicknamed the city's 'Entertainment District.' Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular and lively, with young revelers taking to the streets in droves and keeping the party going until late. Granville Street, being mostly open to pedestrian-only traffic, has a healthy social life along its main thoroughfares, even outside of its cafes and pubs, spilling onto the sidewalks. The locals are chatty, the shops at its expansive Pacific Centre Mall are trendy, and the whole area seems to be on a sugar rush: in a good way. Exuberance and camaraderie classify this neighbourhood.
