If you live near Main street or visiting Vancouver for your first time like myself, this was a pretty decent Canadian sports pub. The local beers were good, the atmosphere was chill to enough to watch a game and hold a conversation without yelling over the music. I would definitely recommend grabbing a quick drink here and continue your journey... More

My family (all adults) and I got into Vancouver late and was looking for a place to eat walking distance from the Airbnb we were staying at. The drink special was enjoyable, a burboun lemonade, and the grilled cheese was amazing. With so many great places to go, this one is missbale but was worth the stop.

No complaints on the 2 ladies who were run off their feet trying to service the half full restaurant and patio and with a smile on their faces but seriously waiting over an hour for a burger and an overpriced $20.00 pizza will not have me coming back. The reason given for waiting an hour was there was only one... More

I went there with some friends. Place was K, service was normal , nothing to complain. But food was the worst food ever I had in my life. I had a pizza, was charged $20 for it, but it had no cheese, no taste. When I complained about the pizza, the server did not care at all. She charged me... More

I'm sitting here at the five point and it's busy! But my server has been attentive and the prociutto flatbread was delicious.I can't say enough about the friendly staff. Steamworks IPA is my new favorite beer!

Four of us went for late brunch on a Saturday afternoon, comfortable outside sitting with serious overhead gas heaters. Had a traditional breakfast, Eggs Florentine, omelette, and a tuna lunch plate. Food was all good and at $8 the Traditional breakfast was a relative bargain. Bit busy and the server brought bacon instead of sausages and whole wheat bread instead... More

Typical Pub food, which I seem to really like. Service is also pretty good. Drink Specials are also good. I usually don't come for food, just drinks in the evening. At that point, I'm already pretty buzzed so it's hard to review this place with a sober mind lol!

Stopped in to sit on the patio on a lovely afternoon. Nice way to spend an hour with the meat lovers flatbread and a pint. Service was quick and good without being over the top. For a change the patio seating was not so jammed together as to be uncomfortable. Lots of other places could take a hint from that.

It's a good place with a good service level. I like it to go see a hockey game and have a beer. The food is average so are the prices.

Staying in South Main

Neighborhood Profile
South Main
South Main, or SoMa, is a neighbourhood in upswing. Inhabited by young humanitarian professionals in converted lofts and studio apartments, what was once an industrial centre is now a wellspring of vintage and eco fashion shops, contemporary sawdust-floor galleries, craft beer joints, and basement acting studios. All set to an Art Deco background with a strong blue collar sensibility underpinning each new pop-up and foodie trend, SoMa is on the rise.
