I absolutely love Caderos. Whenever I have guests in town and they are fans of seafood I instantly think of bringing them here. It is certainly on the expensive side ($25+ for a main), but the view of the Stanley Park and the North shore is hard to beat. Awesome seafood and the ambiance and decor of the restaurant add... As soon as we stepped into Cardero's it was warm and inviting. It's right on the water with views of Coal Harbour. Our meal was delicious and the server was friendly and efficient. Like the other restaurants owned by the same folks (The Sand Bar on Granville Island and the Tea House in Stanley Park - there's another one, too,... More

The staff are great , but the food seems to always fall short for me. The location is fantastic especially in the summertime. I've been numerous times, usually with friends from out of town who have heard about this restaurant. Really there are so many more places that the food is better but this restaurant seems to be popular with tourists.... More

We had a delicious supper here. Service was great. Seafood was delicious. Large wine list. Location is right off the water, close to downtown, with nice views of the water. Walk along the marina before or after, and look at the yachts, for fun.

Good place for dinner. The restaurant has a large well appointed bar area. Great for a pre dinner or post dinner drink. I had a very impressive dinner at this restaurant. They definitely know how to treat their seafood. The cedar smoked salmon was fantastic. So was the grilled seafood. The only thing disappointing was the fried rice that accompanied... More

Cordero's is located on the water close to the downtown and Stanley Park. The setting is great. The food is acceptable but would not be my choice restaurant if it was based on the food. It's great for drinks and has a fun atmosphere. It can get a bit loud. The service is friendly.

Walked in for lunch and had a great lunch outside on the terrace. Returned a few days later for dinner which was also wonderful.

My husband and I stayed at the Fairmont Waterfront hotel for New Years 2017. We decided to stop for lunch at Cardero's during our New Years Day walk along the waterfront. We loved the ambulance and the service was very friendly. We took a seat in the lounge so we didn't have to wait for a table. We sat at... More

Stopped in New Year's Day to have some lunch during our walk. We were able to sit quickly, food came quick and was delicious. Had the salmon burger with a salad with some mint tea to drink and was ready to continue our walk.

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
