Carderos is in a great waterfront location. Good views from most inside tables if that's what you want. Fish was fresh, Linguini Vongole had an excellent broth so good marks for that. Service a little spotty but OK in the end. I'd say it's a bit overpriced but that seems to be typical of Vancouver in general. Worth a splash.

My husband and I were absolutely thrilled with this place. Service was top notch, great menu selection and food (dinner & dessert) was fantastic!! The atmosphere was cozy and romantic. Very vibrant and lively with the open space throughout. Perfect way to top of a wonderful day! They also have live music every night - which we didn't get to... More

Amazing Thai prawns, wok-tossed broccolini, and other seafood dishes! Service was helpful and friendly. Best meal on our trip! Highly recommend it.

Cordero's in conveniently located along the waterfront, near the Westin, so it draws a lot of business and tourist diners. It is hopping. There is patio/deck seating with fireplaces and heaters for "in-between" weather. The service is friendly and reasonably efficient considering how busy they are. The food was good and covered a lot of bases--fish tacos, steamed dumplings, brocollini,... More

Went with friends for supper. Sat on the deck so we could enjoy the views. It was starting to get cool but the overhead heaters kept us toasty!! Service was delightful and the food well prepared and tasty. Would definitely go back again!!

We have been here twice for dinner on our recent stay and loved it both times. The food is fantastic and the staff are very awesome and friendly. First time I had the oysters for an entree and the scallops for the main, both were beautifully cooked and well presented! Last night I had the full lobster, beautiful! Definitely recommend... More

Very very loud. I found myself smiling, nodding and saying 'yes' - not sure that it was always the appropriate response. Very crowded - book. Service - was 'OK'. Food - Harbour Platter ( $39) was 'O.K.' (four prawns, some hummus, olives, tomatoes, cheese and other 'stuff'), lingcod ($25) was good, Salmon ($28) was good, sablefish ($35) - not so... More

Beautifull location at the waterfront with great service and great food. Great atmoshere in big but cosy restaurant with beautifull view on the yacht harbour. Always busy so reserve a table in time.

Neighborhood Profile
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries.
