Dropped in on a Saturday night and the place was not busy....for a while. Within 30 minutes it was jammed. It's been a while since I was here so I was looking forward to experiencing some new dishes. Tried the lamb skewers which were very moist and savory. Also had the trio of dips. One of them as red pepper... More

Stumbled across this little gem looking for a quick bight before a movie. Excellent selection of wine, Kettle Valley PG was delicious. Crab cakes were tasty, the squid a big pleasant surprise and the pome frits a workout but worth the effort. Tiny but comfortable and trendy, loved the artwork!! Worth a return visit for sure!!

Friends and I walked a few blocks from the Landis Hotel to have dinner here recently. It is a very small place and there was no table for four. The hostess seated us at the short bar facing the kitchen. We were treated to the wonderful dance of a chef creating dishes involving fresh ingredients and superb timing! I wasn't... More

Visited from the UK following reviews on TA. These are not the usual tapas you expect from Spanish restaurant they are Canadian and 10 times the size. They are however delicious and I highly recommend. The restaurant is small and quirky and with a new orleans voodoo/jazz feel. If we had had more time in vancouver we would have returned.

Little gem small restaurant with a warm heart. We were met at the door by Josh who was lovely and gave us a table in the window. Ordered the spiced lamb and the beef Wellington. Both were exceptional and the local beer very good. Had vet atmosphere and very busy. Would recommend.

I don't get Bin 941. On one hand it has that scuzzy, previously inhabited by a homeless crowd look with the smell to match, and on the other hand it has some very good and interesting food. So I don't know if it is part of some kind of trend, but it is a little weird. Everything is very worn... More

Bing and you'd miss the entrance, but inside has a great atmosfear and does nice tapas original dishes. Tapas dishes are all very large not like a traditional Spanish tapas. Reasonably priced. Personally I'd have the music a little quieter.

We visited Bin941 tonight for my husbands birthday. When we arrived for our reserved time we were offered a choice of tables...we chose a table for two window seat which was cozy and romantic with a street view. The place was full at 6:30. The setting is intimate and warm and the restaurant is small so reservations( which are now... More

Dropped in for a lighter dinner after a long day of air travel and walking this gorgeous city. Previous reviewers were absolutely correct. The Navajo bread, the duck, the lamb were all amazing - with interesting subtle spice combinations that took the familiar up a notch to unexpected. However the ginger cake alone would ring me back here again!

Neighborhood Profile
Davie Village
Davie Village is the vital LGBTQ heart of Vancouver. It is the only like area in the world to have a permanent four-way rainbow crosswalk, to symbolise the city's solidarity with many of the businesses, ranging from bars to bookstores, that keep the area vibrant. By day, it is a people-watching stop, with fantastic boutique cafes, but at night is when it really shines, humming with neon lights and nightclub music inside many of the hip and trendy bars and dance halls. The area is diverse and welcoming, and its supportive community makes for a tight-knit group of independent and creative shops.
