We were looking to try a new place out to celebrate our anniversary and a friend suggested the Belgard kitchen. I was told that it was casual but classy and had a romantic feel in the evening. Upon arrival we were greeted promptly and sat...at a nice table the was tucked away and private. We chose to indulge in the Belgard experience, which was lead by our wonderful server (Layla *full disclosure I could be completely spelling her name wrong but she was AMAZING). We chose to include a beer and wine pairing with the Belgard experience and everything about our meal flowed beautifully. Layla's high level of knowledge for food and beverage pairings did not go un noticed. Overall the food was delicious, high quality and many ingredients were locally sourced which was something we were really excited about. Covid protocols were in place and followed accordingly which made me feel very comfortable. Overall a great experience and we will for sure be back!More

I liked the food but the portions were smaller than an appetizer. Now I actually have to go for lunch. This is the second time. I gave it two tries. I actually like the place. good ambiance and the food is good. I just wish...I didn't need to go for lunch after I went there for lunch. And why would you give popcorn with a burger. Could you possibly cheep out any more?More

We were unsure exactly how we were going to celebrate International Rosé Day but thought dinner at Belgard Kitchen would be a good idea. We had two rosés while we were there which were lovely but the food was the star of the evening. We...started with the Belgard Grazing Board with burata which was fabulous and so, so much more than a traditional charcuterie board. We also ordered the Beet Salad, Risotto Bianco, and the Yam Gnocchi. All of which were incredible. The service was attentive and the dining room itself is wonderful .More

Went there for breakfast on a weekend. We ordered salmon hash, postmark skillet, breakfast wrap and Belgard bacon. The breakfast wrap was very good and filling.Tried two pieces of the Belgard bacon which were a bit thick and not tasty even with the sweet sauce.Overall we enjoyed our breakfast....Place was unique in that it was a former godown converted to a kitchen and bar, and was very spacious.A great place to meet up with friends for drinks or food.More

It was pretty cool to eat in what appeared to be the middle of a brewery! The menu is designed for sharing and has some interesting items. The main food was tasty but the dessert was terrible.

While in Vancouver for Knit City, we ventured our from the PNE offerings to have lunch at Belgard. Our party of four included a variety of culinary preferences, and the menu had something for everyone. It was hard for each of us to decide, but...the waitstaff was incredibly helpful in guiding us. We started with the duck pizza which was FANTASTIC. Two of us had salads and two had sandwiches, and we all raved about our choices. The beer, wine and cider we had were all lovely. The space, a converted industrial building, is interesting and well laid out—although there were several tables, we didn’t feel crowded and it was not too noisy. When the weekend rolled around, we noticed that Belgard had a brunch so decided to visit again to check that out. Although there was no duck pizza on the menu, there were some fabulous and innovative brunch items as well as some creative cocktails. All our choices were delicious. Food at both visits was prepared wonderfully—poached eggs can be a bit tricky but all the ones at brunch were served at exactly the right temper and consistency. Service at both visits was prompt, helpful and well paced. We are not familiar with Vancouver, but it appeared that the area might not be one we would want to visit at night. Parking was on the street in a somewhat industrial area that may or may not have sufficient lighting. It might be worth checking with a resident to ascertain whether or not you want to drive and park or take an uber or taxi at night.More

Had a nice time at Belgard for dinner with friends. It was my last night in Vancouver, so I’m glad this is where I had my last meal. Love the ambiance and decor of the restaurant and the excellent food and service made it that...much better. Our group of 3 decided to share a bunch of plates, so we went with the sausage board, burrata with eggplant caponata, squash gnocchi with lamb ragu, candy cane beet salad and the roasted cauliflower. As I mentioned, everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. The dishes that stood out to me the most was the gnocchi with the lamb ragu, burrata with eggplant caponata and the sausage board. Will definitely be back the next time I visit Vancouver!More
