We stumbled upon The Distillery our first night in Vancouver and enjoyed it so much that we returned our last evening. The food was delicious, our server kept us happy, and the price was certainly reasonable.

My wife and I were looking for a place to eat that would not break the bank and the $10 pasta special caught our eye. We chose to sit outside and no one took our order until the bartender came out and took care of us. We waited almost 45 minutes for our dinner to arrive and it was worth... More

This was my second visit the Distillery - and I love it :) With bottomless mimosas to the great music and atmosphere, this is a great spot for brunch :)

Had a great pasta meal and glass of wine here for dinner on a Sunday evening. Especially good value as all pasta dishes were only $10 on a Sunday - good sized portions and very tasty

We were in Vancouver to see Fitz and the Tantrums with 3 other couples so started the night with dinner at the Distillery. Great service from both the manager and server. The happy hour deals were excellent. My pasta dinner was incredible! The server even managed to deal with the four bills efficient, friendly way!

The breakfast here is great. I love the atmosphere, the food and the friendly informative service. Bottomless Mimosa's are a nice touch as is the grilled bacon and toast. Now I have to try this at home. This is our second experience here and we will be back the next time we are in Vancouver. I can not say enough... More

I have been here a few times now and have always enjoyed my time there. The bar is very classy and elegant and was very well designed. They even have a James Bond Martini which I tried and liked. They do have a happy hour and other specials so it would be good to look at their website before going... More

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighborhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
