After a relaxing morning walking around the port it was nice to find such a relaxing coffee shop near work. The staff is very nice and organized. I always loved the music and the smell of fresh coffee.

My husband and I are traveling in Vancouver, staying about a block from Trees Organic on Richards Street. I first went in yesterday on my way back from the market, just to see what they had, and came home with a blueberry lemon muffin that rocked my world. I didn't get their coffee because I had fresh pot waiting for... More

Trees Organic is tucked away in the serene corner of Richards and Beach Avenue. Pastries are nice and there is a good variety. Coffee is tasty. There is a little outdoor seating area. The staff are nice. The main attraction for me is the area. It's considered downtown but it's beautiful and sans noisy traffic. The beach is also only... More

We have been getting our morning coffee here for years. While the staff are always friendly the place really needs a clean. Dirty chairs and cushions make it uninviting these days, with dead flies on the windowsill and not a lot of clean up going on. Come on guys you can do better and there is a lot of competition... We've been going to the Luna Cafe just up the road in Gastown every morning of our week in Vancouver and also JJ Bean but rather then get a second cup at the Luna I thought I'd try somewhere new and Trees Organic was it. They may have "Vancouver's best cheesecake" as advertised on their window and coffee cup sleeves... More

Forget the big chains, have a coffee at Trees. They have a coffee and muffin deal for $3,25 daily. Great coffee, friendly service in a localized atmosphere - no generic corporate feel to these shops!

Advertised as Vancouver's Best cheesecake; they did have some interesting choices, and they all looked good. I went for the almond; it was good, but for $7 I was expecting better. It was not smooth, it did have lumps in it. I also had a latte and muffin. The coffee was fine, but the muffin was oily. Took the curry... More

Double espresso and latte with power biscuit. Nice but nothing that we would rave about. Staff friendly but her english was very poor and appeared flustered even though it wasn't busy.

Excellent cheesecakes, coffee and fresh juice! Free wi-fi lovely service. What's not to like! If you are looking for coffee or tea around gas town skip the chain stores and drop by here. They have nine flavours of cheesecake, the mango was really nice and the others looked great too!

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighborhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
