We were a little skeptical when we saw this place, the prices were a little high for hot dogs but we tried it anyway. These dogs were great, a little bit of a wait but definitely worth it. We will go there again when we are in the area.

I was starving, went there and ordered a hut dug sandwich. It was very tasty. The staff were so polite and fast service. Do not miss it.

It's an excellent snack to go and a great twist on the traditional hotdog. With the Japanese sauces and seaweeds, there's never enough flavors bursting in my mouth. Loved it!!

Heard of japadogs from a friend saying how great they were. They were featured in Anthony bourdains tv show and voted Vancouver's cheapest street eat. Definitely had to try it! Ordered a avocado dog which had their signature dog, cream cheese, avocado and special sauce. It was was awesome! Tasty and flavorful. Will definitely try it again!

Excellent hot dogs with a lot of Japanese inspired toppings. It's a popular place and the consistently lined up vendor is proof of its goodness.

This is the first time I ever tried a Japadog. A Japadog stands for Japanese hotdog and it pretty much looks like a regular hotdog got a Japanese make over. Those little stands are often on more busy crossroads, and usually occupied by only 1 or 2 employees. They have a menu hanging up where you can choose from. I... More

Wow! Their signature Terimayo dog was meaty and filling. never thought I'd have a dog with teriyaki sauce, mayo and seaweed, but the combination worked really well

I really love the "Lovemeat" Japadog, with melted cheese and handful of meat! I wish they have these flavour in every store. Currently only Robson street one, and also the some food trucks has this flavour. I also really enjoy their shake shake fries. Reminds me the days when I was in Hong Kong. (McDonalds in Hong Kong have shake... More

Japadog provides a japanese influence on hot dogs. they offer a number of different types of meat for the hot dog and an equally varied number of toppings. Worth a stop.

We were walking past this stand and remembered that this was 'the thing to eat' in Vancouver. We asked the man serving for his recommendation and bought that. Interesting flavours and the meat seemed good quality for the price.

Neighborhood Profile
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries.
