Best Napoleon style pizza! Oh my it's mouthwatering! Pull it apart just like Italy! We crave this and drive 45 mins just to stand in line praying to get in! Love it!

Amazing pizza, they go in the oven at 900 degrees and come out in 90 seconds with great napolitana taste, amazing place but come early or late because it gets packed quick.

Our first time here was a couple of years ago and we've been back a dozen times already and we are NOT avid pizza eaters! This is traditional Naples style pizza, so not very similar to the Panago, Domino Little Caesars poor excuse of pizza we North Americans are used to. We heard Via Tevere imports the flour and don't... More

We had dinner at this small, artistically decorated restaurant in one of Vancouver's most cherished neighbourhoods. We had their pizza. The best you can imagine, from crust to toppings. An arugula salad fit for a king, generous portions. Nice assortment of beers and wines. Tempting desserts. They don't take reservations unless for a larger group and the place is very... More

What a fabulous night! The food was amazingly fresh and delicious and the staff are so welcoming. Try and be early because it's always busy, which is a good sign!!

My husband and I joined my brother and his family for dinner and had outstanding food and service at Via Tevere. The wait staff were attentive and really friendly and the pizza was fantastic!!! Best we've had... EVER. We shared 3 salads (the arugula with deep-fried pancetta; green salad; and the caprese) and two different pizzas (a red sauce and... More

My wife had a hankering for a pizza similar to what we had enjoyed in Italy during our vacation in the summer of 2016. She did the research and decided this was the spot. The web site said they did not take reservations, and when we got there the were people waiting outside. I let her out and went to... More

We went there for the very first time on Friday Dec 30, arriving about 20 minutes after the doors opened. Lucky! We snagged the last two seats at a lovely little table and the people behind us had a small wait. The lineup was never huge. Since everyone in the restaurant before us had likely just placed their orders, we... More

Staying in Commercial Drive

Neighborhood Profile
Commercial Drive
Commercial Drive, also called "The Drive," comprises of twelve sauntering blocks of modest and unfussy counter-culture. Straddling the line between sophisticated and unadorned, it is favoured by students, artists, writers, designers, and start-ups, and suffused throughout with a healthy off-beat counter-culture. The kind of neighbourhood which well-springs thought-revolutions and has the odd bit of self-aware graffiti, Commercial Drive has resisted gentrification in favor of continuing to build a thriving den of affordable multiculturalism. Once known as Vancouver's "Little Italy," it has also been the immigration point for Guatemalans, Hondurans, and Portuguese to the city. The resulting hodgepodge makes for poetry readings in espresso cafes, social debates in early-open bakeries, and eco-activism posters pinned up in the many multi-ethnic markets in the area. Commercial Drive is where you go to feel like a local, and if you have them, bring the kids – The Drive has a number of bookshops, toy stores, and attractions to get them involved too.
