In December we visited Vancouver and had the good fortune to book a meal for 12 with Kristen in her home. She has a comfortable space close to downtown. Upon arrival she served a wonderful caramelized apple and blue cheese crostini. The sit down part of the meal was served at a long table that easily seated all of us... More

What a great night. Lovely venue and hostess, great food, and a very unique and perfect experience for my 40th birthday party with 5 couples! Much better than a restaurant! Want to do it again!

I was invited to dinner at The Endless Meal Supper Club... and it was one of the best meals I've had in Vancouver, ever. Kristin is the chef, hostess and dishwasher all in one. Her recipes, which I've already been trying are available on the endlessmeal.com blog, are brilliant. They can be made easily gluten-free, paleo and normal. Packed with... More

I was looking for a place for 5 couples that would have good food, but would be fairly quiet and intimate for us hard of hearing folk. This was the perfect venue. A lovely oval table in a warmly lit, funky private apartment with gourmet food served “family style”. Every dish was delicious: from the pork belly amuse bouche to... More

Staying in Gastown

Neighborhood Profile
A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's history a more lively presence here than anywhere else. Having been originally founded around a popular worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of Vancouver's best micro-breweries, creative cocktail joints, and corner bars can be found in this area. Classical charm suffuses its many vintage boutiques and the brick-built structures that an army of creative professionals call home.
