Had the salad and there were no issues customizing it. Nice charming wait staff and easy-going atmosphere. Could sit and chat without being bothered. Would recommend!

My wife and I had a casual breakfast - coffee, scones and a breakfast sandwich. The coffee was delicious and the pastries and food was tasty and reasonably priced for the area. Minor negatives: the wifi password I was given didn't work; the breakfast sandwich was underseasoned.

Went there as we took a break from a wonderful walk on Coal Harbour. A couple of Asian girls were both the baristas and taking care of everything at the place. Ordered a cappuccino and the girl didn't ask me what kind of milk, when I realized that and asked for lactose free she just said "but I already made... More

Great location along the sea wall and near the Westin Bayshore, where I was attending a conference. I ordered a chicken wrap which you can customize with different flavors. It was pretty good. Service was fast and friendly enough. The real draw is the beautiful display window with breakfast pastries: mouth watering croissants, muffins, frangipani, etc. coffee was good too.

Not as good as the last visit! Coffee has gone down hill and the staff not as friendly! Think I'll pass on the next visit! Very busy on the day of visit, perhaps staff felt rushed!

Nice and quiet cafe with good pastries, coffee and other snacky things. Staff was very nice and friendly. It is quiet so it's great for a quiet get-together with friends.

Coffee was good - but the serivce was really bad - almost rude. No patience for a family with kids taking their time to order. I would not recommend this place

It is really good coffee. We were most of the time disappointed about the coffee, but here is it perfect. You can also sit outside and enjoy the views.

You can always judge the place by the number of people stopping by or coming and going. Lots of regulars. Small inside, service is a bit slow, and restaurant needs to be polished up between tables but when the staff are running off their feet it shows. Good coffee, limited sandwiches and breakfast items. Best Americano we could find in... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
