We sat at the bar and enjoyed the British bartender, and the food was good too. Would have liked somewhere less noisy but as we were staying at the Moda Hotel, this was most convenient.

Nice Sports Bar jut around the corner of my hotel. Had a really nice pizza along with a nice IPA. The girls were helpful and always smiling. If I ever come back to YVR- I'll be back to the red card.

Big sports bar with large selection of draft beers & extensive menu, mostly bar food. Remember that by law Canadian burgers must be cooked well done before you order one! Located around corner from Moda Hotel

Conveniently located around the corner from the Moda Hotel, we ate at Red Card twice mainly because the Copa Americana was in progress. A wide range of beverages was offered and the food was above average. A lively packed house made watching the soccer games fun, with many nationalities represented. If you want to watch sports and eat, this is... More

Went here to watch the soccer game. Our server was not very polite and seemed unhappy to serve us. We were 6 people having lunch and drinks for 3 hours, at the end of our visit 2 friends stopped by for 15 minutes, so our server included a 18 % tip because we were a party of 8 which is... More

In a city where people tend to eat rather than drink it was nice to come across a proper bar where you could just hang out. Food was available but sitting at the bar, watching the screens and having a few drinks was more where it was at.

My wife and I were looking for a reasonably priced restaurant close to our hotel (Moda Hotel). The Red Card Sport Bar and Eatery had several choices that appealed to us at reasonable prices. We were not disappointed with the food and had to accept the fact that we were in a sports bar with very enthusiastic fans who were... More

I've been to this bar two times already and I think I'm never coming back again. The first time they offered us the "specials" and charged the regular price on the bill... Not a big mistake but if we hadn't noticed, we would have payed $30 more than the "specials" they offered. Second time, a couple of days ago, the... More

Party of 4 arrived for a game. Place was full. Manager rudely turned us away at door even declining our offer to stand. We were firmly told no and come back in an hour. I say come back never.

This place is great for partying and fun to watch the games. The place is cool, and there are TVs everywhere, and spacious. The food is decent and I tried their thin crust pizza with bacon and sausage. It was tasty. My BF had spaghetti bolognese and he liked it as well. We had a group of 12 and the... More

Staying in Granville Street

Neighborhood Profile
Granville Street
Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs and watering holes that it's fondly nicknamed the city's 'Entertainment District.' Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular and lively, with young revelers taking to the streets in droves and keeping the party going until late. Granville Street, being mostly open to pedestrian-only traffic, has a healthy social life along its main thoroughfares, even outside of its cafes and pubs, spilling onto the sidewalks. The locals are chatty, the shops at its expansive Pacific Centre Mall are trendy, and the whole area seems to be on a sugar rush: in a good way. Exuberance and camaraderie classify this neighbourhood.
