Best cocktails ever , friendly happy staff , had such a fun night , will definitely be bag on my next visit to Vancouver got a very long list of cocktails to get through, although the staff listen to what base you want and make it from there, explaining all ingredients and remedies 🍸

There is a reason why The Keefer is in the Top 100 bars in the world and I had to go and find out for myself. A special friend took me out for dinner at Bao Bei and decided I had to go check out The Keefer as I'm a mixologist myself and have a passion for high quality drinks,... More

We stopped through on a chinatown cocktail excursion, not knowing what to expect. The drinks and service were so so, but the live musician on Tuesday was absolutely excellent, and made the night worth it. Unique loop pedal music, fantastic saxophone player too, we were definitely impressed. Pricey drinks for a literal hole in the wall, but still very hip... More

We came here for a birthday party last Friday evening and I was left unimpressed and out of pocket! I only stayed for one drink - rosemary gin. It's a nice drink but it's definitely not worth the $12 I paid for it, plus the 20% service charge that the waitress added, plus the $3 I had to pay to... More

Just landed in Vancouver and went here to meet a group of friends.Small, cozy, not a lot of space, so if you are afraid of someone breaching your comfort zone, don't go however you would be missing out on goodness. electric, fun spots with some nifty collections of beverages and small plates that should test anyone's taste buds. Great for... More

So as hip as this place is supposed to be, it just may be. Small, stuffy, overly pretentious place, with great drinks at prices the neighborhood can't afford.

What a great cozy spot for drinks after dinner or just to hangout. Great music, a great gin, and bourbon selection as well. Have not had a bad drink, just too many! Go visit, there is a great vibe there.

This cute cocktail bar serves up some great drinks at a price you'd expect for such fine craftsmanship. The venue itself is quite tight, with an interesting medical-themed decor. While at times it does feel a touch pretentious, it hasn't stopped me from returning as the drinks are just that good.

If you don't have a plaid shirt and facial hair, you don't fit in. We were here on a Wed night. The bar was full. We'd to wait 20 min for our drinks ("there's only one bartender"). There's a DJ spinning. I didn't sample the food. Even though this establishment is in Chinatown, there's no Asian in sight.

A great little bar with an interesting exterior(hard to see it's a bar) and an even more interesting interior(dark and cool lighting) and very nice sit down bar.Kinda odd location as it appears to be there all by itself. Busy, busy place and rather small room so it is quite jammed but the staff are as good as they get, they serve... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
With the recent exodus of massive new building projects hitting the neighbourhood, Chinatown; which has always been one of the city's most vibrant areas; is even more buzzing and buoyant than ever before. Playing host to some of the city's best pan-Asian cuisine, from fusion food to traditional home-cooking, Chinatown has remained faithful to its roots as a space which clambers with shop signs and welcomes diners to the table. More that that, it has a hip experimental vibe to it, with trendy pop-ups and catchall market shops. The biggest of Canada's Chinatowns, it is also home to an expansive Chinese garden whose manicured grounds inspire and delight, its ponds and pagodas drawing walkers in for an stroll. Take in the red streetlights, the playful awnings, and the upbeat air that suffuse this area.
