WE had to wait in line outside as this is a popular restaurant. Mostly based on price for quantity. My wife & I shared an appetizer & a rib dinner it was enough for the 2 of us. If you don't mind waiting in line I would recommend it for dinner. Staff were nice & efficient not much time for... More

My partner raved about this after going for lunch last week. She took me for lunch this week. Everything was overdone. The lamb was overcooked, the pita was burnt and the Greek salad poor. My partner checked the cook and last week was a different fellow. If the server had come to check on the food within a few minutes... More

We have been wanting to try this restaurant for a couple of years and finally got there with my family. After waiting in line outside for about 20 minutes we got a table. ( the hostess will come outside and take your name and number in the party and will come back for you when a spot is open). The... More

We arrived on a Saturday evening, and took a walk down Robson from our hotel. We saw all the people out the front on chairs, (like a waiting room ) and I thought it was a beautiful summer night, people where just sitting out the front! They where waiting for a table A few days later, as you meet other... More

I like coming here when it's past the chaotic dinner rush (9pm onwards) because you never need to line up! I think the only reason this restaurant gets a lineup out the door is because it's affordable and decent food. It isn't to die for amazing, it's just affordable. The souvlaki is a great deal- $8 for a chicken skewer... More

Went at 8:00pm. Restaurant was full as usual. After 15:00 min. , we were directed to our table by the window to find ourselves next to friends of 40 yrs. As soon as we finished talking, we ordered our meal: tender lamb with delicious grilled potatoes, rice, Greek salad, tzatzikki & Greek pita along with a Heineken. Service was very... More

Staying in Davie Village

Neighborhood Profile
Davie Village
Davie Village is the vital LGBTQ heart of Vancouver. It is the only like area in the world to have a permanent four-way rainbow crosswalk, to symbolise the city's solidarity with many of the businesses, ranging from bars to bookstores, that keep the area vibrant. By day, it is a people-watching stop, with fantastic boutique cafes, but at night is when it really shines, humming with neon lights and nightclub music inside many of the hip and trendy bars and dance halls. The area is diverse and welcoming, and its supportive community makes for a tight-knit group of independent and creative shops.
