Really nice spot to stop for lunch and watch the world go by. Food was excellent, location perfect, seating inside or out. Well worth stopping by.

This place was heaving with people. Skillet breakfasts, healthy yoghurt and fruit, a variety of eggs benedict or waffles. The children's breakfast would have fed me. The ordinary coffee was slow to come, but the latte and pot of tea came quickly. They have soya milk, but couldn't make a London fog due to using loose tea.

Ate dinner here on a Saturday night, friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere - watched the TV screen go through various places in Italy. Italian decor as well, wine was well priced and so was the meal.

Relaxed easy dining in this Italian style restaurant. Service was friendly and helpful. Meals are substantial and the pizza we had was delicious, if not a bit big , at 16" ,for a sharing pizza. We could not eat it all. The sweet potato chips were amazing ! Liked the fact that you could buy carafes of wine. All up... More

Good atmosphere as was quite busy even at 9am on a Sunday. Food is very nice. I recommend the Garden Skillet. Only downside was coffee was not great. Overall, definitely worth it.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
