My friend and I went there on Sunday and the place was empty. It was a nice, not too hot sunny day so we opted for the deck. It took awhile to get our first drink and my friend actually went in search of her own water it took so long. We then decided to get the mixed platter. I... More

I've eaten at this restaurant for numerous years and it keeps upping it's game. It's kind of a trendy place. On the west side of vancouver. It's great to take kids to. They make the greatest mac and cheese ever. Great music. Kind servers. The most gluten free options you will find anywhere. Pizza, best burger (the whisky bayou) ),... More

Came here with the family in tow (8 of us in total) and had such a great time. From the time we arrived to the time we left our server Duncan pulled out all the stops. A very friendly and knowledgeable chap. Everyone was pleased with their meals. I had the mussels which were superb. Towards the end of dinner... More

Stopped in for a bite. It was a little early so missed the pizza and beer special $9.50. Had the pizza for $13 and a 6$ beer. Pizza was the muy caliente. You know what it was ok for a hand crafted pizza. Wasn't that many people in the place but it took the server a long time to get... More

Quietish Bar with great atmos, good mix of music and sports, for real though the music was fire, and as for the food, burgers were on point, with great deals all week. Strong drink selection wraps up this place to be poised to make a run at the top dogs of Point Grey as one of the best bars in... More

Very reasonably priced drinks and burgers. I was satisfied when I left. The service was alright and it was not busy on a weeknight. Good neighbourhood pub in Kits.

Stopped in today at lunch and expected some decent food given the reviews that I had read. My first impression was that this pub is in dire need of a restoration! The place looks tired and worn out. We were promptly greeted by the server and chose a table to sit at. My chair had white tape holding the upholstery... More

Good prices. Cheap drinks. Best burger ever! Check out Groupon for a coupon. It's become our regular place to go. Service is good. Music was a little loud for my toddler. Otherwise fantastic!

I've been here several times now so time to review again. Lucky to get Duncan as a server because he stands head and shoulders above anyone else, who mostly seem to be young women (scantily dressed, I might add, to the point of embarrassment for the women they are serving as they seem to be directly targetting men for tips).... Love the tofu tacos with guacamole, they are seriously so good. Would definitely recommend going here. Chef was very good about serious allergy at the table.

Staying in Kitsilano

Neighborhood Profile
Kitsilano
Kitsilano is one of Vancouver's most transformative neighbourhoods. With a long history of coffee culture and poetry readings, its days of flower children and buskers may be long-gone, but not without leaving their mark on the number of organic restaurants and fair-trade cafes in the area. At the centre of Kitsilano ("Kits" for short) the almost idyllic expanse of Kits Beach offers the opportunity for a relaxed afternoon of beach volleyball or sunbathing. Along with the beachfront, nearby public pools and trendy street-beats have driven up the homeowners prices, making it a haven for stylish home goods stores, from design and furniture, to supplies and appliances. The multitude of both families and public spaces also make it a happening neighbourhood in the summer, when festivals and fairs take to Kits' streets.
