5 Stars across the board for this restaurant! The food, the cocktails and the service were the best I have ever had in Vancouver. I went with 3 friends and we shared 3 appetizers and 4 entrees. The Hamachi Tartar, Beef Neck Raviolo and the Seared Japanese Squid were all amazing and expertly prepared. But the entrees were the best... More

Food: 5 stars Wine pairing: 2-3 stars My colleague and friend brought me to Hawksworth as a special annual treat where we meet at our professional society meeting. I was excited because she ate here in year 1 after it opened and has raved about it. The evening finally arrived. The service is efficient and consistent. The pace of the... More

We don't usually do restaurants at this level, but a visitor was hosting, so sure, why not? Two of us arrived a tad early and were seated in the lounge with drinks, and when we joined them we were whisked to our table. Comfy chairs, not too crowded, full but not too noisy. I hoped that a place like this... More

The tasting menu was really sub-par. The desert was really good and what I expected for every course. The other 6 courses were either bland or too salty. $150 CAD after tax and tip for the tasting menu alone. At best that's $50 of value in there, and not because of the food (meh), just so I can tell all... More

Our anniversary dinner was amazing. The service equally so. If you are a resident of Vancouver or are just visiting, dine here at least once. It's pricey but if you can afford it, so worth it. Drinks and desserts are decently priced but be prepared to spend for a starter or main.

This place is always my "treat" when I go Downtown. The service and food is always impeccable and the cocktails stand up to an old school, perfectionist's scrutiny. I specifically went for the tempura dipped squid ink oysters, which have sadly been taken out of the menu's rotation. However, my host Jackie was quick to offer delightful, descriptive alternatives to... More

Great evening at Hawksworth. We had a reservation and were promptly seated. Nice ambiance and professional and personable service by Jonathon. The food stars here and each dish was nicely executed and beautifully presented. My wife started with the peach gazpacho--very flavorful with lots of halibut. I had the Japanese seared squid, which was excellent. We followed with the halibut... More

My wife and I had dinner at Hawksworth and everything was perfect. All the dishes were outstanding and the staff extremely friendly. Just a petty that the dining room was very noisy.
