We were there for brunch and the restaurant wasn't too busy which I thought would be great for both food and service. Service I must remark was really good and our waitress was very nice and super serviceable. Now food: I had ordered the "ancho braised pork shoulder tostada" which I assumed would have a South American component (given the... More

Fantastic meal and impeccable service. One of the finest restaurants on the west coast. Was there for a large group dinner and kitchen prepared meals with individual care

The food was amazing, we went for the tasting menu and it was all excellent. The restaurant is as smart or casual as you want it to be and is modern glass tables rather than white linen formal. We dressed up but plenty there didn't. There is a good extensive wine collection

Heard about Chef owner Hawksworth on TV, then read up on his restaurant and decided to give it a try, given all the great reviews. Well, YOU CAN TRUST the great reviews. We came here for dinner last night and it truly was an amazing dining experience from start to finish. We were driven there by the Fairmont Pacific Rim... More

Excellent food, all of it. Attentive, but not too attentive staff. The flavours of the ingredients announce themselves with each bite. We went for the tasting menu and did not regret it for a second. Be prepared for sticker shock, or be prepared to leave you first-born in payment (that may sound good to some parents). You won't get out... More

Friends visited the restaurant with booking organised from overseas, Australia. We visited the Calgary Stampede, landing in Vancouver on way home. Staying nearby, the booking was confirmed. We needed GPS to find the restaurant as we were confused walking in the correct direction. A very helpful Frenchman emigrating from Nice was our server. Could we expect more service, no is... More

You won't find a finer restaurant anywhere in Canada. There are several that match it's quality and presentation but none finer. The fish will melt in your mouth with tastes that almost demand you lick your plate. The chocolate desserts require a photo their presentation is so perfect. Service is five star. Nothing is lacking or required. Their wine list... More

We went here for dinner and received such a high level of service. Our server was fantastic and every detail was looked after. The professionalism, personality, and genuine care from our server was worth going back for alone. (I wish I remembered his name). The squid appetizer was amazing, especially for me who typically doesn't like squid, and the desserts... More
