We stood in line for half an hour to get our gelato. Perhaps because we have had so much in Italy, this did not impress. It was good, creamy, and a decent selection of flavors. But decide if your time is worth it. Also, very expensive.

The queues outside say it all. We passed several times before they were short enough to try. Worth every penny with a wide choice of flavours

Delicious, of course. Absolutely worth the wait in line. But the server (after handling many things) grabbed my spoon by the eating end and plunked it into my dish. Ack. Gross. I wiped it off. They need to watch this.

This is the it ice cream place in Vancouver, the lines are always long but it keeps moving. It is expensive, there are a variety of off kilter flavours. We got two tubs with three scoops, all different flavours. The ice cream was creamy, the flavours were not always up too much. We enjoyed mixing and matching the different scoops... More

We stopped by here on the way back to our hotel one night. There was a line out the door but it moved quickly. Once inside, we were asked to make a selection about size and cone vs cup. Kind of a weird thing since we were first time visitors and didn't know if we would find a flavor we... More

Amazing place, wonderful pizza and fantastic gelato!!!! As locals, we go there every other week and all food is great. Service is wonderful also. Friendly staff and always willing to help. Gelato is the best in town. As a suggestion, try the gelatini, what a smart combination.

Very good Italian food, well prepared and good service. Will try the gelato tomorrow! If you sit near the outside there is a good view of the harbour as well.

First of all the one scoop ice cream is huge, too big for one scoop, secondly the salted caramel was quite bland and didn't pack enough caramel or salty flavour. Expensive and not worth it I'm afraid.

Because the lineup is loooooong and you'll need to make conversation with the people you're with. The gelato was worth the wait! Ok, first, we went at 10pm in a Friday and was able to park right on Cordova. The wai was about 20 minutes but we were with people we liked so it made the wait bearable :)) The... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
