We spent a few hours there unwinding after our flight into town. The staff was very friendly and we chatted with a number of local residents about things to do and see while in the Vancouver area. They have a nice beer selection and the food was okay. We really did enjoy the atmosphere. There is another Rogue across from... More

After checking the nearby establishments we were looking for a cozy place where we could get some decent food & drinks and actually have an audible conversation. Here we found the perfect place – inside the historic Waterfront Station building. The draft beer was good, the food was excellent and the ambience was ideal for a relaxing evening. The personal... We ate here on a damp Friday evening - the eatery is part of the main railway station, a short distance from Canada Place and the Vancouver Lookout Tower. We were seated outside, under cover but overlooking the busy Cordova St and inevitable traffic noise (although good for people watching). Service was slow, but we eventually got our food (maybe... Looking for a late lunch, we selected an outside empty table which appeared to conflict with the procedure. Nevertheless we were acknowledged and provided with a menu, which had a good range of choices. We ascertained that the portion sizes were quite large and there was not a problem in ordering a portion to share. When served the food had... More

My husband and I stopped in here on our first night in Vancouver as we hadn't familiarised ourselves with the city and wanted something quick. I had the salmon risotto & my husband had a burger. They were both nicely flavoured & good portion sizes but it was pricey enough for what is ultimately bar lounge food. Nice enough atmosphere... More

We so enjoyed our meal here at dinner, the night before our cruise. Service and staff were excellent. A good selection of American food. Not haute cuisine, just good food done well. Very reasonable priced too with some nice beers. Happy to recommend.

Good selection of food. Handy for accessing when travelling by sky train. The waitresses were very efficient and friendly. Food was tasty and reasonably priced for its location.

Spent the evening there with co-workers. Drinks and snacks/meals. Ordering drinks took very long. Meals definitely overpriced. Fish and Chips CAN$14.-. And the portion was tiny. If you just want to go for drinks and have lots of time the place is alright.

We had 2 different salads for lunch which were equally good. Sitting semi-outside was really pleasant. It's a nice place close to the waterfront to sit down and relax. We arrived during the week just after lunch time. As such no queues or possible delays while ordering.

Thank Frankpacman

Every day funk is what going Rogue is all about. Crazy tall light fixtures and walls that glow set against sand-blasted brick and well-worn hardwood floors. Menu-wise, going Rogue means doing things in the kitchen others said couldn't be done. Like a completely fresh burger served medium-rare to make it the juiciest and best tasting in town. Or corn-dogs your not supposed to want but secretly crave. Going Rogue means your horizons are greater than the "usual suspects" of chain restaurants. Rogue gives it's customer an eclectic enough offering of food and surroundings, that they can feel and be themselves. You can go Rogue when you're slumming, you can go Rogue when you need to impress. You can go Rogue with a date, your mates or with your boss. Best of all, you can afford to go Rogue every day of the week. Need a stiff drink and tasty meal to get you through your daily grind and have enough left over to do it all again tomorrow? Go Rogue.

Staying in Gastown

Neighborhood Profile
A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's history a more lively presence here than anywhere else. Having been originally founded around a popular worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of Vancouver's best micro-breweries, creative cocktail joints, and corner bars can be found in this area. Classical charm suffuses its many vintage boutiques and the brick-built structures that an army of creative professionals call home.
