Spent the evening there with co-workers. Drinks and snacks/meals. Ordering drinks took very long. Meals definitely overpriced. Fish and Chips CAN$14.-. And the portion was tiny. If you just want to go for drinks and have lots of time the place is alright.

We had 2 different salads for lunch which were equally good. Sitting semi-outside was really pleasant. It's a nice place close to the waterfront to sit down and relax. We arrived during the week just after lunch time. As such no queues or possible delays while ordering.

There were 4 of us for lunch. We sat outside on the patio. Service was very pleasant and efficient. Food was typical comfort food. Seafood soup was very tasty and the fish and chips were exactly what you would hope for and expect. Atmosphere on the patio was very pleasant. A nice lunch experience.

We had a group of about 10 people here. Food was good, the fishbowl sangria is delicious. Service was ok...not amazing but not terrible either. We enjoyed the patio seating on a warm night!

Stopped here at the end of a trip around Canada starting in Calgary. Food is ok and initial service was fine but after that nothing. We finished our snacks and beers and waited. Asked two different staff including the door hostess if we could get more drinks. They promised to tell our server Shannon but it seems she was overrun.... More

Despite having a fantastic experience last time, I was really disappointed with my last visit to Rogue Kitchen and Wetbar (waterfront location). It was my friend's last night in Vancouver, and I wanted her to have a memorable (and pleasant) last experience before heading back to Korea. Excited, we decided to eat at Rogues. What a terrible mistake. We ordered... More

We decided to spend two days in Vancouver prior to our cruise. We decided on this restaurant due to the sidewalk seating. It was such a beautiful day we wanted to be outside. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I had the Pacific chowder and my friend had the fish and chips.

Great bar in a great neighborhood. Bartenders were super friendly and gave us tons of tips on how to enjoy the city.

We stayed in North Vancouver for a few days of sightseeing and shopping and ended up going to Rogue twice while we were there. The décor is very appealing and the staff were great both times we were there. We had very enjoyable meals there as well as huge desserts. You can't go wrong when you have good food as... More

Description
Every day funk is what going Rogue is all about. Crazy tall light fixtures and walls that glow set against sand-blasted brick and well-worn hardwood floors. Menu-wise, going Rogue means doing things in the kitchen others said couldn't be done. Like a completely fresh burger served medium-rare to make it the juiciest and best tasting in town. Or corn-dogs your not supposed to want but secretly crave. Going Rogue means your horizons are greater than the "usual suspects" of chain restaurants. Rogue gives it's customer an eclectic enough offering of food and surroundings, that they can feel and be themselves. You can go Rogue when you're slumming, you can go Rogue when you need to impress. You can go Rogue with a date, your mates or with your boss. Best of all, you can afford to go Rogue every day of the week. Need a stiff drink and tasty meal to get you through your daily grind and have enough left over to do it all again tomorrow? Go Rogue.

Staying in Gastown

Neighborhood Profile
Gastown
A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's history a more lively presence here than anywhere else. Having been originally founded around a popular worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of Vancouver's best micro-breweries, creative cocktail joints, and corner bars can be found in this area. Classical charm suffuses its many vintage boutiques and the brick-built structures that an army of creative professionals call home.
