This restaurant is run by alumni of the (long lamented) Cannery Restaurant. Food excellently prepared, and service is prompt, friendly and proficient. Note that when we were there recently, we found the portions to be very generous - unless you're starving, you'll want to pass on their starters, or at least limit yourselves to sharing one. At our visit, at... More

Unassuming in appearance if you were to drive by and quite frankly if you walked in the door, you might judge this book you its cover. Well worth a visit despite the decor and unusual location. Service was unparalleled, lot of attention and good amount of hovering, water glass filling and so on. Excellent seafood, with fresh dishes and catches... More

Went here with a group of people for a business dinner. Two of us got food poisoning (possibly from Oysters, but we tried each other's food as well). Still waiting to find out if anyone else got sick as well. The waitress and chef were really nice, though. But, for obvious reasons, I'd never return here.

A trip down Vancouver memory lane to a Cannery spin-off, complete with retro seafaring decor. Our server's nickname was Teddybear, and he was a teddybear. Glasses of wine and food portions were generous. Remember when restaurants served big portions, and you left very full without having had to load up on carbos and have dessert? It was like that here,... More

We were looking for a restaurant near the Escape Room on Kingsway and discovered The Pink Peppercorn which is about four blocks away. On a rainy Vancouver night the restaurant was warm and inviting and our server the right mix of professional and fun. He suggested two different shared seafood appetizers, both of which were delicious. I had the Westcoast... More

What can I say...eat there every time I am in Vancouver. Some of the best seafood you will ever eat. Service wise, I love it there, waiters who have worked there since the restaurant has opened. My mum is handicapped, and they were so accommodating. It is a very understated restaurant, which I love, but if you want a "FANCY"... More

The place is tucked in an older property, but elegantly and tastefully appointed. The service is excellent and the portions quite generous. We went as a family of 3 and we were full with one appetizer and main each, there was no room for dessert.

Seafood Linguine Is a must try dish. Big chunks of seafood, mussels and large scallops. All the seafood dishes are fresh and large portions. The Black Cod is nice and fresh and testy not bland like the food in the Boathouse (don't think they offer Black Cod at the boathouse). Prices a little less than the Boathouse and Cactus Club.... Food and service were excellent. Husband has shellfish allergy and the chef made fabulous lemon sauce for him. Staff were very personable and sweet. Will go back. Crème Brule was so good we had to order more.

Food is delicious; prices are reasonable for seafood; only about 2 months old. Chef was from The Cannery. I'm a very happy customer who wants them listed.
