This place is awesome..celiacs, vegetarians and meat eaters can eat here. Food is delicious and they give big portion sizes. They have many healthy options. Worth the money and funky decor.

Told to come back in about 20-30 min ... Meanwhile we were waiting in front but people who where groups of 3 they suddenly had... More

Fantastic comfort food. Shared poutine and spicy chorizo pasta with my wife. Very rich and flavorful. The pasta was spicy and cheesy, with some great veggies.

The food was great for diner food. Its also worth mentioning that their menu is very impressive. Not in regards to amazing gourmet or creative creations, but the fact that they have so many meat, gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options all on one menu is commendable. Living in good ol Vancouver, you most likely have a friend (or multiple... More

The menu looks amazing but we found the food and service to be OK. Nothing spectacular. Was hoping for more.

After a long flight and even longer day of sightseeing I was exhausted and just wanted something really good to eat. There is something there for everyone. Even the dessert was safe to eat. The staff while busy were friendly and the wait wasn't long.

The service at this place is brilliant - a large vegan menu is on offer and staff are helpful in recommending and advising. The food arrived quickly and the serving sizes were very large, whilst quality was high. I wish this place existed in London.

While we got our food quickly and it was tasty the wait staff was beyond brutal. We never got asked how our meals were or if we wanted more coffee and our plates sat on our table while she chatted with the guy at the bar who we assumed was another staff member. We were only one of two tables... More

My companion wisely chose to order something off the brunch menu, a regular eggs and toast type breakfast. I ordered the vegan mac and cheese. It had a creamy dark yellow sauce, came with a fresh greens salad, and portion size was good. The vegan cheese did not taste very good - but I am not familiar enough with vegan... More

We live in the Okanagan where vegan food is not easily found. We loved this comfy diner in Vancouver. We ordered the poutine to start which was fine, but the Daiya cheese wasn't melted so it lacked there. The mains were fantastic. My husband had the baked mac and cheese and was grateful for a creamy, tasty cheese. I ordered... More

Staying in South Main

Neighborhood Profile
South Main
South Main, or SoMa, is a neighbourhood in upswing. Inhabited by young humanitarian professionals in converted lofts and studio apartments, what was once an industrial centre is now a wellspring of vintage and eco fashion shops, contemporary sawdust-floor galleries, craft beer joints, and basement acting studios. All set to an Art Deco background with a strong blue collar sensibility underpinning each new pop-up and foodie trend, SoMa is on the rise.
