This place was pretty solid but needs a few tweaks. Ambience was good, vibe was definitely fresh with a great crowd. Decor is superb. Drinks were on-point. The only thing we didn't like was the rude hostess. No smile, no true welcoming feel. One of...More

Made it here for happy hour just before 6.00pm. Substantial price cuts on drinks and selected food. Tried the house burger and veggie burger. Good food without being sensational. Nice Gastown bar atmosphere. Great after a day of walking the streets.

I found the venue at Tripadvisor and we got a table for 4 on a Thursday evening without reservation although it was well - filled. Nice atmosphere, good drinks, good food, an attentive service and good value for money, worth a visit.

Centrally located in the nice Waterstreet, Gastown. Food was excellent and they offer local wines. Very friendly staff, the restaurant is super cozy and romantic with petrol lamps on tables and walls. Great bar as well. Would go back there anytime.

A must-visit for me and my husband whenever we are in Vancouver. We love the drinks here and the food is great too! It got crowded pretty fast the last few times we were there though so going early may help!

I like Pourhouse more for drinks than I do for food. They make great traditional bar drinks like negronis. My personal favourite is a drink you can only get here called a bittercup. I don't think it is on the menu but it is for...More

If you're looking for top notch spirits, this is the place. We'd already eaten dinner but wanted to stop by and listen to a little music. I'm a bit of a single malt guy and I saw they had Aberlour a' Bunha behind the bar....More

This evening, we attempted to attend the Pourhouse to celebrate my Mom's 60th birthday. We did not make a reservation because my family was coming Calgary and we didn't know timing. We attempted to call early in the afternoon but reached the voicemail that they...More

Great spot to start a Gastown food and drink tour. Roaring twenties theme done well. Sit at bar and watch the mixologists make your drinks. It is a show and a learning experience. Traditional cocktails and forgotten drinks brought back to life. Very friendly service.

The concierge at our hotel recommended this place and it was certainly worth the short walk in the rain. The vibe and decor of this place are also worth the visit. Although I did ask for a recommendation for a good burger, my wife found...More

A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and
stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of
being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many
plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell
the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's
history a more lively presence here than anywhere
else. Having been originally founded around a popular
worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of
