This is terrific food. it is not your usual menu and it can stand proudly with any restaurant in Italy. the family menu is great and very filling so do not eat for several hours before you get here. i have never had the steamed spot prawns because you have to go when they are in season but the waiter... Went with a group of friends to celebrate years of friendship. We all selected the family meal - which was an assortment of foods for a set amount. I can't say that any of the dishes really stuck out for me. They were missing flavour (I had to ask for salt) and I felt that they missed the mark. Service... More

We went for dinner Upstairs. The menu was limited but the options were quite good. I had the cod fritters with broccoli and my wife had the ribs. Both were good. We had a side of fries. Excellent. Service was good and helpful and attentive.

Actually wanted to try the "dirty burger" but we were told that it's served only in the evening at the Campagnolo Upstairs. So for lunch we settled for a couple of sodas, a salsiccia (fennel sausage with arugula) pizza and the Ricotta Gnudi with briwn butter sauce. Have been to Italy many many times but have not come across restaurants... More

We had a diverse group dinner with both groom and brides families attend at this neat restaurant . We had family style plates as appetizers as well as mains . The wine selection was excellent , providing a good pairing with the food at a reasonable cost .

We had a great memory of food at Campagnolo's so when on a Monday, we could not find an open restaurant we immediately drove there. We ordered a lettuce salad with goat cheese and red beets. It was fresh and crispy - very good. Also we ordered bruschetta, goat cheese with pesto - 3 thin slices of bread for $12,... More

Lovely, if pricey, simple salads. That said, I've been trying to recreate their simple butter lettuce salad ever since I tasted it last month. Yummy pasta dishes, of course. Our waiter was prompt and helpful, too. But the room is such a disappointment. It feels like you're in someone's unfinished block wall basement. They have some wainscoting but you don't... More

My buddy and I split orders of bruschetta and deep-fried chickpeas, and then each had our own pizzas, one a variety of mushrooms, the other a more conventional sausage type. Excellent. Wine list could offer a little more diversity in varieties and price range. That said, can't wait to go back

We went on a weeknight and only three tables filled so ambiance sadly lacking. However we had a wonderful meal with a selection of meats cured on the premises and great homemade pasta. Waiter knew all the menu well and when we asked about grapa brought samples to try so we could decide which one to try. Recommended possibly on... More

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighborhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
