Finally tried this Gastown poke restaurant. Had one of the signature pokes. I liked the look of dish. Tasted good as well, however, thought it seemed a bit pricey for the portion.
Will come back to try some of the other pokes and it appears...More
Just by roaming through China Town and looking at the steam clock which is just across the street from this restaurant… we saw the sign advertising this place and went in. Great service and excellent Ramen to try. Lots of different choices and the Chef...More
Located in a very busy tourist part of Gastown this is not the easiest place to find, or to stumble upon as it is located in the lower level of a building with only a small notice board outside. There are many other shops, restaurants...More

A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's history a more lively presence here than anywhere else. Having been originally founded around a popular worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of
Vancouver's best micro-breweries, creative cocktail joints, and corner bars can be found in this area. Classical charm suffuses its many vintage boutiques and the brick-built structures that an army of creative professionals call home.
