My husband and I have been telling our son about the wWhite Spot drive ins for years. Tonight we thought we'd show him the last remaining one on marine dr. We parked and decided what we wanted. We turned on our flashers as indicated to let them know you're ready to order. We waited...and waited. No one ever came. We... More

We always enjoy the food at White Spots and have tried a few locations. We live near this one and usually order take out from it, but we were going to a movie after, so decided to eat in the restaurant. We were a party of 5. To start off, they are a small location and don't take reservations for... More

Great service! We were warmly welcomed by the manager upon arrival, then seated by the friendly staff. The kids were offered colouring, and we sat in a big comfy booth. The decor was pleasant and staff patiently took our orders. Then my son changed his mind after the server had left, we told him he had to run after her,... More

Loved the location in relation to my stay, the food and beverage were served promptly. I didn't get any of the usual attitude when arriving solo. Good thing, as I felt quite at home again in the area.

I placed a room service order at 9:50 PM (It's next to Coast Vancouver Hotel) and the young lady who took my order said she had to ask her manager to see if they still had room service since they close at 10. She said they didn't but that I could pick up my order from the restaurant and that... More

I noticed these restaurants all over Vancouver so stopped in for a bite. Meal was good. Not like your typical fast food place you would eat at in the States. Would go back.

The White Spot is sort of a cross between a Family Restaurant and Sports Bar, but it works! We were quite glad to find it, and quite enjoyed the Truffle Burgers we had.

We were visiting Vancouver and some friends that were vacationing there as well suggested White Spot because it was close by. The restaurant was nicely decorated, but it was fairly busy and the four of us were squeezed into a back corner. We ordered the halibut and chips and fish tacos. The food was of average quality. The prices were... More

A new menu item. Chicken Alfredo Fettuccini. I also had a Caesar salad and two glasses of white wine. I was full but content. Also came with a piece of garlic bread. Good size portion.

Staying in Little India / Punjabi Market

Neighborhood Profile
Little India / Punjabi Market
Little India has changed in recent years. While some view it as a declining neighbourhood due to emigration and competition, it is still the original site of the Punjabi Market, and an epicentre for Indo-Canadian culture. The many textile outlets along these blocks boast endless swaths of colourful sari fabric, while the local markets and food stalls waft the savory scent of sugar and spice. Indian fast-pop breaks the quiet of the neighbourhood, as it drifts out from the windows of shops and homes, and glitzy storefronts offer bangles, jewels, and silk at reasonable prices. Join the bargain hunt and step into a world apart in Little India, which becomes especially upbeat during the summer, when celebrations and festivities take hold of its streets.
