My husband and I were in town traveling from Austin and we accidentally came across this neighborhood gem! I cannot properly express how much fun we had at this restaurant! The food was outstanding and the service was absolutely beyond our expectations. Our server, Glenn, took great care of us and made the entire evening memorable. We had such a... More

Stopped by here on a Sunday evening, when they had $10 pizzas. The small outdoor patio was full, but we snagged a table. Convenient location. Friendly service. Good food at reasonable prices. Popular spot, with good reason.

We regularly visit this place. The food is excellent and good variaety. If I have any complaint, it takes a while to get your first drink when you get in. For whatever reason, you end up waiting a long time to get the first drink or bottle of wine. If they could show more of a sense of urgency delivering... More

We planned a corporate dinner for a 30 person team June 23, 2016 with manager Adam Jeal. What. A. Dream. The feedback from the whole group was overwhelmingly positive; Greg & Irene (our servers) were exceptionally attentive and completely on the ball, enabling us to have an amazing experience in a relatively short amount of time. So many of the... More

This quaint bistro is one of my favourite spots for all appetites, big and small. I often eat light and their salads and smaller plates have lots of choices; sometimes it's just a single yummy meatball and a Caesar salad. Last night we shared that as well as the short rib pappardelle - highly recommended - and tried the caprese... More

Trattoria on West 4th has been one of my top go to places for years. Their Kobe meatballs, I am literally addicted to Trattorias meatballs. Variety of salads, pastas, meat, pizza, salmon, etc. and mouthwatering desserts. Service is always friendly and attentive and it is a known fact Trattoria has the best meatballs in Vancouver, lighter, tastier and healthier than... More

Dropped in for a weeknight dinner out with friends. The food was good (always like the brussel sprouts). The server was great (Irene). Worth a try. Enjoy.

Trattoria is a great place for dining in Vancouver. It is family friendly and the pasta they serve is delicious! Their food takes a while to prepare; however, it is worth it for what you get. Would highly recommend the Zeppole al Cioccolato for dessert. It is an Italian style doughnut that tastes like heaven in your mouth.

I really don't know what happened to the (outstanding) Trattoria on 4th of old?!? Dining to an overall poor experience a few weeks back, we decided to give it another try only to have our previous experience reinforced. In summation, exceptional service coupled by mediocre fare, where the quality and preparation of food has significantly deteriorated in recent years. For... More

The food was really good by all standards, including the servings for kids. The waiter waiter was very kind and helpful, but as one of the earlier commentator has pointed out, 'bit in your face'. Other than that, we had a enjoyable evening.

Staying in South Granville

Neighborhood Profile
South Granville
The neighbourhood closest to the airport, a generous mix of locals and tourists populate the area. The blend has made it a go-to spot to find an eclectic collection of entertainment, from theatres and cinemas, to antique stores and last-minute kitsch souvenir shops. It gives off a transient vibe, and is one of the more higgledy-piggledy areas in terms of what you'll find, making it a fun area to explore and map out, all while taking in the hectic atmosphere of people coming and going, while others look for the best ways to spend their last few hours in the city.
