I have been meaning to put in a good word about Patisserie Lebeau. We don’t visit it too often—modest number of tables and not within walking distance—yet they carry one of my favourite baked goods—rice pudding tarts. While there last weekend, my wife felt a little peckish and had a small Quiche Lorraine and gave it her stamp of approval.... More

A berry waffle loaded with beautiful blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, and whipped cream is just the thing to brighten a rainy fall day!

We had a really nice breakfast experience at Patisserie Lebeau 2 of us had the Belgian waffles with fruit - without having the custard or cream option. I found this meal to be delicious and very light. The fruit was at the perfect ripeness except for the peaches, which were a tad hard. The waffles had no lardy after-taste -... More

This little bakery/patisserie is my go-to place when I am craving something sweet as their waffles are to die for! I will usually buy something fresh, made that day, and I will also purchase some of their frozen waffles for home or to share at the office. It's a bit pricey for a bakery/bistro kind of place, but well worth... More

I love this restaurant because the food is so perfect and each bite is so delicious. Sometimes, pretty food is just pretty, but not here. It is pretty and delicious. It is so hard to choose from the array of amazing food. I am never disappointed but always wish I could eat more at a sitting but gluttony is a... More

OMG I love this place. The pastries and sweeties are fabulous. The breads are always just great. And the waffles are just wonderful nothing the savory and the sweet. Yummy.

If you happen to be in the Armory taking a break from deciding which Maserati or Lamborghini to buy, this place offers very well made waffles and coffee in addition to a modest selection of sandwiches. Sure, waffles aren't going to change your life, but they are well made and le Beau offers a very good selection, probably unique in... More

You can't go wrong! Choose from plain to filled to their "breakfast special" topped with poached eggs and fresh berries, or a lovely treat any time of day. Each and every bite --delicious and freshly prepared. Le Beau is pretty small, but there are a few tables to sit and enjoy a coffee, juice and your waffles. Their plain and... More

Granville Island & Fairview
One of the favoured neighbourhoods for a day out, Granville Island's packed theatres and art studios, hobby shops and book stores, restaurants and bars, all offer a plethora of activities and entertainment options, leaving no one bored. The highlight of the area is the Fisherman's Wharf, where the seagulls overhead and the smell of the sea invigorate its many visitors, some of who are there to shop the fresh wares at the public market, and others of whom have arrived to take in the eclectic atmosphere.
