Went for a celebratory lunch and was very pleased with the food and the service. Best value are the tasting boards, 5 small ramikens filled with various treats such as humus, olives, pickles, nuts, etc. delicious and with several baskets of their warm and wonderful fresh baked bread, makes for a delightful lunch. The views are spectacular and most tables... More

This is the best place to bring someone who is visiting Vancouver for a nice view of our beautiful city! My guests are all very impressed with the view from our table at the patio! The meun offers variety of choices and prices are very reasonable! I started to love this restaurant again and will definitely come more often!

Had 5 hours to kill before London flight. Went to QE Park and stopped for bite. View outside looking down on Vancouver was great. Food was good. Really about the view, gardens, and atmosphere. Pizza a bit bland but not terrible, she liked her tandoori chicken but not loved it. A bit pricey but worth it for the view.

We ate here while visiting Queen Elizabeth Park. Service was excellent. Waiter gave well thought out recommendations that hit the spot. I had the salmon burger, great choice. Wonderful view while eating.

Spectacular location matched by superb food and service - the best we had in Vancouver. A good place for entertaining important guests (that was us !!!). Difficult to recommend particular dishes as you will be able to get what suits you and it will be good. Comfortable and spacious, too. A walk around the surrounding park with its views overlooking... I must say that the service was outstanding. We had a reservation for 4 and needed to change it to 11! The restaurant was extremely accommodating and made it happen. The food has the usual items with some lovely surprises. Everyone in our party was happy with their choices. Wine list features some wonderful BC wines including Canadian ice wines.

Well 12 years ago we got married at the restaurant so we wanted to go back and relive the moment. This place did not disappoint. Valet parking, friendly staff (quite a bust place so be patient and enjoy the views)! Crab cake and shrimp cocktail were amazing! Wife had Halibut I had the Seafood Bouillabaisse. All very tasty and nicely... More

We were deeply disappointed with a recent visit at seasons in the park. I am a fan of the chain and dine regularly at Carderos and Sandbar. This time we chose the restaurant for a family outing of 12 including relatives from out of town. We were seated 30 minutes after our reservation. The lovely waitress was spread thin having... More

Staying in Shaughnessy

Neighborhood Profile
Shaughnessy
Residential neighbourhood to the ultra-wealthy, the gorgeous manor houses centred around The Crescent area are a fabled sight to behold. Shaughnessy is Vancouver's most verdant plotted neighbourhood, and its tree-lined streets, walking routes, bike trails, and charming public parks make for an ideal location to spend and afternoon communing with nature. Consequently, it is also the botanical centre of the city, featuring conservatories and an expansive Botanical Garden, taming and sculpting the wild into seasonal viewing areas and enchanting landscapes. Quiet, elegant Shaughnessy excels at providing the Three Gs: Gardens, Golfing, and Galleries.
