My favourite little Thai place, very friendly family run restaurant. Best tom yum soup I've ever had. Great curries, I've tried the massaman, yellow, green and panang curries, super tasty. No hesitation in recommending this place. Prices are as would be expected for the area and quality of food offered.

Not bad Thai food but not that great either for what they charge. Nice decor and good location on Denman. I prefer Sala Thai on Burrard myself

Some of the best Thai food I've ever had. We ate the yellow curry and the large tom kha gai soup. Everything was delicious. The family running the restaurant were really nice and friendly.

After reading awesome reviews, we tried the place for a late lunch. The food exceeded our expectations. We stayed away from stir-fried and ordered yellow coconut curry chicken (lunch menu) and chicken with peanuts, and then we could not decide how to share them, because both were so good. The service was perfect too.

The green chicken curry was the best of the dishes ordered. I would not recommend the pork stir fry with guilan, it was super greasy. The prawn and cashew stir fry was just okay, ditto the chicken satay. The servers were quite friendly and the service was fine, but the restaurant could have been a little cleaner. I would not... Whilst visiting Vancouver we stumbled across this gem of a restaurant. From the outside the restaurant doesn't look much, however once inside the decor is authentic and atmosphere is relaxed. The food is excellent and the service is outstanding! One of the nicest Thai meals I have eaten.

My husband had the cashew chicken fried rice.. Great portions.. We could have easily split the curry chicken and a side of rice and had plenty for each.. Truly a treasure of Vancouver. The owner is the cook.. Care and love goes into each dinner.. We were there 3 years ago on a trip to Vancouver enjoyed it then thought... More

My husband and I stopped here for lunch. We had the green curry and the red curry. The flavors are amazing. Large portions. Great lunch special with soup, spring roll, rice and entree. The chef came out and asked if everything was good. I always like it when the chef comes out to see the guests. Makes a more personal... More

This small restaurant on Denman Street was a real find! The menu is extensive, the wait staff are attentive, and the food was out of this world! My partner had the Green Curry with eggplant and chicken. I had the Pad Thai. Both dishes were large portions and very tasty. But the Green Curry was special - wonderful flavours, not... More

Staying in West End

Neighborhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
