The Pointe Restaurant is a wonderful high-end restaurant overlooking Chesterman Beach. The menu is a little pricy but the food was well prepared, good portions and the service excellent. This is a wonderful place to have a special meal when visiting Pacific Rim National Park.

Were here for breakfast - paid CAD$81+ tip for 3 plates of pancakes and 3 orange juices! Don't get me wrong, the view is good but thats where the positives stop. The service is very mediocre - not the service i would expect for the price. The pancakes were heavy, stodgy and the chef seemed to have tried to make... More

This is a gorgeous restaurant overlooking a wild beautiful beach in a remote section of British Columbia. We were fortunate enough to get a window table, usually reserved for staying guests. The prices are New York/San Francisco high and our very expensive halibut was extremely dry and overcooked but the setting makes up for everything.

We had a delightful evening at this restaurant where the view is breathtaking and the food is a tantalizing experience. We ordered the 6-course tasting menu and every course was amazing, succulent, and innovative. For foodies, we could not recommend a better place to eat at in the area, and we tried many others. I would save this restaurant for... More

The restaurant offers great food if you like seafood. There is less choice if you don't like seafood but the food is excellent. The service is the best we received in any restaurant in Canada and that country knows how to offer great service

didn't stay here but did come for dinner and it was lovely. Food was magnificent, service exceptional and view is perfect. If I come to this area again, I would probably stay at the Inn. Beautiful beach to walk as well.

We came in without making a reservation. So we were told that we had tot wait for a open table for 90 minutes, at least that was what the hostess told us. So we took the wait at the bar. We witnessed at least five empty tables. During our wait at the bar those tables were never filled up. So... More

Our dinner would have been fabulous even if we'd eaten in a basement. Instead, we looked out on one of the most gorgeous beaches in the world. Excellent service. Really, really great food. Probably one of the top five meals of my life.

Description
Surveying the panoramic vistas from the westernmost point of Tofino’s idyllic Chesterman Beach, The Pointe Restaurant’s Refined West Coast cuisine and attentive service come gift-wrapped with 240 degree views of the Pacific Ocean, surrounding islands and wildlife. Much of the fresh seafood is fished from the very waters overlooked by The Pointe, and a longstanding focus on locally sourced, high quality ingredients is evident. Dinner is offered on a seasonal à la carte menu, but for the best of the best, try Executive Chef Warren Barr's weekly tasting menu; Daily brunch is a true treat. Out of the ordinary desserts reflect an innovative Pastry program where most everything - from bread to butter to scrumptious chocolate croissants are housemade. An extensive wine list, recognized yearly by Wine Spectator magazine, showcases BC’s finest selections with a broad range of international bottlings. Over 100 Scotch Whiskies and a creative cocktail menu can be savoured in the comfortable On the Rocks Lounge. A true taste of Rustic Elegance On Nature’s Edge - and the West Coast’s best views - are on the menu at The Pointe Restaurant and On the Rocks Lounge.
