Hoping for a nice dinner, we ordered the special: Halibut with Lentils. Unfortunately, the Halibut was over cooked and the lentils were way undercooked. It's still a nice spot to look over the harbour, but someone should be paying attention to detail if you want to charge the bigger prices.

My friends and I arrive after the lunch rush - ordered and then waited one and a half (1 1/2) hours for SOUP. And then it was dirty water with pieces of potato and corn floating in what was supposed to be 'chowder' - no apology for the length of time it took - even if we were told they... More

The food was wonderful, the views were amazing...overall a wonderful dining experience on a beautiful island! The pasta was cooked perfectly and the service was terrific. As good as any Italian meal we have had in Southern Orange County, CA. What a surprise!

Recommended by a slew of prosperous locals, this small and charming, upscale restaurant offers eclectic cuisine, emphasizing organic and farm to table ingredients. The atmosphere is sophisticated but casual.

The patio here is wonderful, right on the water with a great view of the boat docks. The food was good, out of a group of 6 most liked their food. This is a restaurant trying to be trendy with their food. The service was some of the worst I have ever encountered. The servers didn't care to do a... More

My wife and I dropped by for dessert last night (Monday) about 8:00 p.m. There were no tables inside, so we ate on the patio overlooking the marina. Although it was cool, staff turned on propane heaters so the temperature was comfortable. I ordered Tiramisu and my wife ordered bread pudding. Both desserts were very tasty. The cappuccino and wine... More

The food at this restaurant was amazing. The pasta was about the best I have ever eaten. The portion size was large, even the half portion was plenty of food. The only downside was the service was a little too slow.

Based on being the #6 rated restaurant on Salt Spring Island, we were excited about going there for dinner. It turned out to be a very disappointing dining event. Below are my comments. First of all, we made reservations to sit outside. When we arrived, they had has sit inside for about 15 minutes. These things happen but it was... More

The childrens menu is very deceiving. I suggest another restaurant unless you want to gulp that wine when the childrens food arrive in search of 'kid friendly food' right after the dish arrives to quell the hungry child. Fish and chips was a piece of lightly grilled salmon, with teriyaki drizzle - great for adults not so great for someone... More

After several hours of wine tasting and visiting the market, we decided to eat. Auntie Pesto's was close by and we sat on the outdoor terrace overlooking the harbour. Service was prompt and efficient. The 4 lunch meals looked and tasted delicious.
