Don't go there! Why own a bakery if you don't want to sell baked goods? I was waiting for the ferry at Fulford and needed bread, so I popped in to see what this bakery had. There were "Artisan" breads on a rack in the back of the store, and I could hear someone working further back. I said, "Hello"... More

i was present when you were in, our sign noted that we were short staffed that day...you were aggressively impatient and without compassion, manon was busy preparing food for other customers..be thoughtful, be compassionate, consider that the whole world doesn't necessarily revolve around you. Wholesome approach to vegan cuisine. Very charming and homey atmosphere. Creative and inspiring. A great place to explore Conscious living in a very positive environment. Try the V'egg Panini, it is amazing! Love the Vegan cheeses and greens.

The only reason that I am not giving this cafe a terrible rating is that the food was actually decent. I am vegetarian (not vegan) and so I was excited to find a place with so many options for me. As soon as we walked in we felt like the place was a little unfriendly. Once we tried to place... More

We had planned to try this place based on food reviews, though I do see others have had "less than positive" interactions with the proprietor. However, the shocking, incredible rudeness of the (presumed) owners was truly something to behold! A stark contrast to the warm greetings and conversation we had at other places on Salt Spring. Will return to the... More

Funky shop with lots of character and a variety of books. We just had espresso but the treats looked delicious.

Have been here many many times whilst eating for the ferry. All the baked goods are great. Yesterday we split the Vegan Burger - to die for.

Don't ask questions, just order one and savor the blend of flavors that are perfect; pricey but worth it; Smoothies are also excellent;

You know a restaurant is incredible when you get off the ferry and speed across the island to get a vegan burger and salad before closing! My husband and I make a point of stopping into Morningside at least a couple times every trip to Salt Spring. Manon has a gift of uniquely bringing together an abundance of flavours and... More
