Stopped here for lunch. it is right on the harbour of Ganges so has incredible views. our waiter was pretty good - attentive. But the food was mediocre.. had the Beef Dip .. tasted like sandwich meat and not freshly carved beef. Would go back again for a drink on the Patio but is a miss fro lunch or dinner.

This was a fun, if odd, experience. We went into a tiny restaurant front called Burger Bar 537 and ordered our burgers then sat outside at rustic table benches overlooking the marina. I don't know what they do with their diners if it's raining. Our food showed up - from the opposite direction!!! It was walked over to us from... More

First day on Salt Spring, right off the ferry and looking for lunch. This was a great choice when the wait time for the Tree House Cafe was 30 minutes (minimum). Wonderful view of Ganges Harbour, heaters on the patio for those cool coastal days, great service and good food. I thoroughly enjoyed the lamb burger and chips, one of... More

Went last night with a group of 9. Waited a very long time (7-8 mins)to get menus, someone from our group went to the bar to grab a few. Waiter came, dropped more menus and told us he would be back to take a drink order. Waited another 4-5 mins before he came back. Took our drinks but not food.... More

We had greasy fried seafood with too much beading, average clam chowder and what I had though was Caesar salad but turned out to be something completely different (nothing Caesar-salad-like about it and not very good). The location is great, sitting outside by the harbor, but the food was just OK, not good, and the service took forever - they... More

We had lunch here on a rainy July day. We sat inside by the window and enjoyed the view...and the food. We had a cheese & meat platter which was very good. Service was also very good.

Great location overlooking the harbor. Had oysters and truffle fries. Oysters were very fresh but s wee bit pricy. Truffle fries were Luke warm and bland. Cocktails were marginal to OK, but arrived quickly. Staff was very friendly. Excellent atmosphere on patio.

The best part about this place is it's location. There are so many great places to eat on Salt Spring and this doesn't live up to the bulk of alternative restaurants. I would recommend going for a drink but maybe skip on the food.
