this restaurant offers both Chinese n Canadian dishes . Their house special fried rice with shrimp, roast pork and eggs are very tasty , as well as the stir-fried broccoli . Their Chinese dishes are cooked the authentic way

West End has always provided great service to I and my family over the years, no matter how many of us there are during dinner. The atmosphere of West End is what truly enamors me, seeing the old booths, decor, dining from vintage dishes, and seeing familiar faces each visit! I believe that the experience is very different for those... More

We came here after a long day of kayaking for a nice later dinner. I am a bit on the germophobe side, especially when it comes to dishes and cutlery. The cups and cutlery are what I would call well used and could be due for an update. We ordered from the specialty menu, A1 (Cantonese chowmein), A7 (sweet and... More

Two times I have gone there the food was good. The price a bit high but there's no competition so where can you really go in prince Rupert ? No easy access to the washroom there are stairs and that is why I won't go back. But the people where friendly. The place could use a upgrade it's a bit... More

This place has been around for 30+ years and, I have to say, time hasn't been very kind to it -- at least, based on our recent experience here. Prior to our last visit (April of this year), we hadn't been to the West End since 2009. The food was good then, so we were anxious to return here. Unfortunately,... More

West end is my #1 favourite when going to Rupert. Always great service and food. Excellent value for your money. Both the Chinese and western food is fantastic. Breakfast is always awesome and I love the dim sum too.

Chow Mein was Dry, White and Tasteless. The "Fried Rice" wasn't Fried at all, and it was dry, too. Nothing in the Rice but a hint if a green onion. The one star given was because the place was clean.

Ill say it again. The worst chinese food i ever had. Although i did order a combination plater because it was cheap but there is no excuse for having such bland chicken fried rice. It was boiled and then tossed with what tasted like the chicken seasoning for mr noodle. Had no herbs or spices but had some pre frozen... More

Mmy mmemmories of West End Cafe go wwwaaayyyy back to when we were very little. Our Mom & Grannny used to take us there all the timme. I liked when we sat in one of the big curved booths (no longer there) and would be baffled with the mmystery of the 'hanging pies' (mmystery solved!!!). West End Cafe is popular... More
