The food here is good, but the hours seemed odd to us. Service was excellent, and we enjoyed our time here.

The food here is good, and the rye selection was right on par with what we were looking for. The décor however is quite old and it feels like we've gone back in time. Price point is on the high side for the overall experience.

Context my friends.....context. This is Prince Rupert not a big city. It is an older location so don't expect urban, hip with new furnishings and prompt big city service. Don't expect loud thumping music that you have on your iPod, etc. Get my drift? Good. But, this does not mean the experience will be less than adequate...no, not at all... More

I got the chicken mozzarella sandwich and my sister got the tomato spaghetti. The chicken in my sandwich was so over cooked I could barely chew it and there was almost no fries. My sisters spaghetti was rock hard and the tomato sauce was cold and you could tell was store bought. A bit pricey for the low quality of... More

This place has been here for ages, apparently under the same management. I last visited here 20 years ago. It was good then and is good now. Prompt friendly service. Big lunch for 2: $45.00. Tidy washroom.

What a surprise it felt like stepping into an Italian restaurant in the 1970's . Good location, great views of the water . There were 3 tables occupied in this enormous old lady. The waitress who served us was affable enough but thought nothing of discussing her personal life across the room to her co- worker, making so much noise... More

Food was very good as well as the service. Very good Italian food and would eat here again. We would've preferred sitting next to the window, but it was fairly busy and no tables available. We would eat here again.

Looked great, but we arrived too late at 8:55. The menu had lots of pasta dishes that sounded yummy. We wanted to eat here , but could not.

The first night in Prince Rupert we went next door to the La Gondola. We ordered Italian and there was lots. The next time we ordered we split the Fisherman's platter. The shrimp salad was really good but the platter was not. You only got a sliver of ling cod, 2 small pieces of salmon, calamari was not any where... More

Of all the places in Prince Rupert, I decided to try this one........... The service was excellent and the decor definitely is of the past, but in the day I am sure this pace was amazing and had amazing food. I ordered the Antipasto (small); it was very good. For second appetizer, I tried the Calamari (very good), but served... More
