We went to breakers yesterday for lunch. After my son-in-laws flight delays in Edmonton and Vancouver it had been a long two days for him. We picked him up in or Rupert and thought we'd go fir lunch to unwind. We sat ordered drinks then our lunch and waited well over an hour for the food. The service was brutal.... More

Once again, Breaker's delivers. Nice menu, not, overly ambitious, food well done. The prices have risen over time but that's the food reality. At Breaker's your not just getting food, you're getting the waterfront ambience and a local experience. We rarely miss it when we're in Prince Rupert.

Great food but lousy service! The waitresses evidently didn't want to be there!! We ordered the fish and chips and a pitcher of the black ale and enjoyed it.

Went for lunch during a some-what rush hour. Food was delicious and came in a timely manner. Server came to bring our drinks, brink our food, and to check in again after our food was delivered, which was nice considering they were moderately busy.

Super thirsty after an all day adventure tour to see Grizzlies at Khutzeymateen, ordered the Cod and Chips for me and the other half chose a chicken stir fry with noodles. Two ice cold Goose Island pints hit the spot, the service was top notch and the food came out speedily and delicious. Nice to sit outside on the small... More

I frequent this establishment roughly 3-5 times a month. Waitresses have always been cheerful. The food is good quality pub/sports bar food, my favourite is the "Breaker's Burger" and awesome fries, always crisp never soggy. A good selection of beers on tap.

It was great to relax and have a couple of drinks overlooking the water. i was super pumped that they had BC wine by the glass (Hester Creek) which was really good. We shared an appetizer platter. Garlic wings and stuffed mushrooms and potato skins. Most of it was pretty bland - it was okay, but nothing to write home... More

Love going here for the waterfront experience of eating and having just coffee or a drink with appies or full meals. The food is so good - wonderfully prepared and served. This is a really great place to meet friends any time or day for whatever time of day.

New server, not exactly well-trained since her response to "What is the house wine" was, "I don't drink wine" (making me feel like it was wrong to drink wine). Ordered our meal, after some back-forth about gluten-free options (something she seemed partly versed in). We wait & wait, drink our beer/wine, call her over to say 3 other tables who... More
