We had excellent speedy service from our server. The menus had a wide variety of options and my salad was a delight. I have down played my rating because I had to use my napkin on the table top because it was so sticky. You know the type of sticky where it looks to have been wiped down but has... More

My girlfriend and I heard this was the place to eat on the main strip of Lakeshore and it certainly was. It was extremely busy, quite the line for a table as to be expected with any good restaurant. I had the fish n chips which was well done. Some places the breading is to greasy and falls apart or... More

The ahi tuna & avocado was very good, the lettuce wraps were okay. The service was good. The have an awesome patio right across from the beach, so great location. Drink prices seemed a bit high, but I'd definitely go back.

I've dined at Salty's three separate times since it was reno'd. The service is adequate for how busy it can get but the food is uninspired. The pasta is pre-portioned microwaved blah, and covered in sauce to disguise this fact. I've also tried the Kale Caesar and Fish Tacos and was left feeling disappointed after each. The only redeeming dish... More

Not too many restaurants along the water. This is great cause you can leave your stuff at the beach, take what you need and jump across the street to eat. Went a few years back and I have to say the food was better but it's still good. Had the fish tacos both times.

Had good food but average service. Server was polite but the food took a long time to come out. It was busy but it was unusually long. Would go back for sure.

We reluctantly went to Saltys for dinner. Reluctant because it's a seafood restaurant 4 hours away from the coast (we live in Vancouver). We were pleasantly surprised by the food but a tad disappointed with the service. Everyone was very friendly but there didn't seem to be any leadership on the floor. 4-6 gals were standing around the host stand... More

If you like Thai food, recommend the Fisherman's Pot. Lots of seafood and loads of yummy deliciousness at the bottom of the bowl. We also had the Curry Mussels which had the same tasty curry flavour as the Fisherman's Pot which you will want the baguette to sop up all the extra sauce.

Fantastic fish tacos and "big dog". Great location across from lake. Parents can see the "Wibit" where the kids are playing. Fun atmosphere and friendly staff. Only complaint is the when someone pays cash, the waitress needs to return the change. I shouldn't have to ask for change! I determine the tip :)

The food here was excellent. We had the curry mussels and tuna salad and I'd recommend both. The service was good. I've dropped them a point only because we asked for a 2nd drink dead on 6 o'clock which is the end of happy hour and were told we had to pay normal price. Were hoping we could have one... More
