The Woodfire Bakery is a cafeteria style bakery with fresh cooked meat sliced on bread or dishes with pasta, rice really what ever you want. All the food is like home cooking and you may order something plain but when you get it, it is plain but special.

My friend took me for lunch. Would never have stopped and wow if I hadn't I would have been missing out. If you enjoy soup and sandwiches this is the place to go. Servings are huge and the taste, well yummy yummy yummy is my explanation! Would highly recommend and will be going back the next time I'm in Kelowna.

They make the best sandwiches ever. They are unique, filling, and best of all tasty. Prepare to stand in line but they are fast. If you go on a Saturday have the borscht.

Friends had recommended this spot although without much detail. As it advertised it was open at 8am we thought breakfast would be the idea. turns out their meal service does not begin until late morning. But they did have 2 varieties of quiche available for breakfast - they were huge and delicious (my wife and I shared) which together with... More

I am local to Kelowna and I LOVE this little restaurant. Some things to be aware of - it's NOT a bakery, but rather a soup and sandwich kind of idea, and if you arrive in the peak of lunch hour it can be very difficult to find seating, but going half an hour early or a bit late will... More

The portions are out of this world. A true German lunch spot. Do not get fooled by the name, it is not a true bakery, it is a soup and sandwich spot with some authentic German dishes. The food was great, I would recommend this to everyone. There was a waiting line the entire 1 hour that we were there.... More

This is cafeteria style, you may have to wait just a few minutes for fresh sandwich. Seems to be always busy. Main meathing carver sings as he works. Family atmosphere and seating out side.

Two of us showed up looking for a sandwich. I ordered the torpedo sub at $10. I was expecting a submarine sandwich...you know, cold cuts, cheese, lettuce tomato mayo... instead I got a grilled open face sandwich with some cheese and ham, nothing else. There was nothing wrong with it, just not much to it. For $10? My friend ordered... More

Great little lunch place, always made fast and fresh to order. Atmosphere is busy but streamlined and has a nice European feel. Good location, easy to get to off the highway.

Heard lots of great things about this place, however they keep limited hours. Went at 3:09 for a quick sandwich only to find they close at 3. We should have tried to make it earlier. It just assumed they'd be open. Maybe next time !
