We found the cafe today while strolling through the (very wet) streets of Chemainus. What a lovely experience! We had the pea and ham and curried parsnip soups with a warm cheese scone (both delicious!). The lattes were superb and the staff efficient and friendly. We also bought some local artwork which was displaid in the cafe. A great experience... More

It was a bright spot on an otherwise rainy, gloomy day. The staff are lovely and the vittles divine.

We go to Willow Street Cafe regularly for lunch and just love their simple, yet oh so tasty Sandwiches, wraps and the most yummy pasta salad! Huge homemade muffins, good coffee and even better service. Great place, great food, nice atmosphere!

Excellent coffee house. The main attraction for me is the cheese scone (warmed with butter). Best ever. I've been there many times and it's alway yummy.

My husband had the special - turkey sandwich and a small bowl of Split Pea and Ham soup for $13.95. He said they were good and filling. His cup of coffee for $2.50 was "awesome". I could not see a price on the menu board for soup but it didn't occur to me to ask in advance; it's a bowl... More

We were touring friends of ours around Chemainus and decided to stop here for lunch. The staff were so welcoming and kind. We enjoyed their wonderful soups, scones and absolutely the best pie ever. We will definitely return here for lunch.

The Willow Street Cafe is a gem! The staff are super friendly and more than eager to please. I think it was a bank at one time for they have a safe in the back room. The choice of food is extensive and mostly made fresh on site. The daily soup was pea soup, the wraps were delicious as well... More

A lucky stop to discover this small café on the main street. Delicious homemade soups and the scones definitely confirm their special qualities and taste. Have you ever fallen in love with a place right from the start. The host was excellent and helped you trough the menu because portions are enormous. I had Split pea and bacon soup and a half order of a roast beef sandwich which was the size of a double decker. My wife had Canadians and Red pepper soup. Both... More
