My husband and I stopped in for lunch and had a wonderful meal. Our server was gracious and helpful. I loved the decor which added to the overall experience.

I was brought here for some quality Indian food a couple weeks ago and was very impressed with the quality. I returned again this past weekend with my husband and it was the same high quality experience.

I have never felt so humiliated , went in this restaurant with my wife , not busy . after entering the restaurant we stood at the front door waiting for seated on the table. I could see the waitress sitting at one table using her phone. after inquiring whether restaurant is open , she told us its open and said... More

I was there yesterday. Me and my fiancé ordered for saag paneer and bharta and Aloo paratha and butter naan. Saag paneer was way better than what I have had in long time in a restaurant in Canada. Naan was crisp and had good brown colour. Wasn't over cooked, was just cooked right. Aloo paratha was disappointing(actually what was more... More

I'd wanted to try Astha for a while and last night I finally had an excuse to go. It was late when I got there, close to closing time, so I was concerned that I may get a half-assed meal. This was not the case. I had the veggie samosas, bhuna lamb and plain naan bread. Everything was amazing. I... More

This is the first time that we had been to Astha and, unfortunately, we found it a little disappointing. The popadums and samosas to start were good, but the main courses very mixed. The Kadai chicken was by far the best, with very well balanced spicing, also the Bhuna Lamb was good, however, the two dishes with tomato-based sauces were... More

Visiting Red Deer on business and happened upon this little gem. The food was delicious and the service five star! Highly recommended! I will certainly come back.

While a rather small space located toward the north end of Red Deer the atmosphere inside was very relaxed and inviting. We were served promptly and the waitress was able to offer suggestions regarding the range of unfamiliar foods. We ordered two main dishes and one side of rice along with buttered nan bread. It was all very delicious. I... More

A friend of mine came to visit unexpectedly and I knew exactly what to feed her! She is vegan and enjoys spice. I am not vegan but respect her choice so I ordered many dishes she could eat as well as a few for myself. The order was fairly priced for the amount of food we got! Spices made sense... More

Visited with friends for dinner. Server was quite helpful and knowledgeable about the dishes and good combinations to choose. Excellent sized portions. Great flavours. Cozy, with colourful decor. A little on the pricey side, but comparable with other Indian restaurants in the city. Would definitely return
