To say I was disappointed by the sugary treats provided by the Donut Mill would be an understatement... Being a lover of everything sweet, I thought for sure that this establishment would become one of my favorite spots on long weekend road trips. The location itself, obviously, sees a lot of traffic being so close to a major highway, it... More

Truthfully I've stopped in at the Donut Mill several times on my southern route to Calgary. I have always enjoyed the food, they have a soup and sandwich combo that is to die for. I have heard many praises for their donuts, but confess I've never bought one, just not really a donut guy. My last stop was a bit... More

I must have passed by this place hundreds of times. Even got gas right beside them and drove away hungry. Never again. These are the best donuts in the world. If there was such a thing as a pastry themed royal rumble, it would end with a donut mill donut standing victoriously atop a the broken bodies of other donuts.

After reading other reviews about the Donut Mill, I thought it was time to try it myself, even though I am not a donut eater. First of all, the service was prompt and friendly. I tried the Boston Cream which I had heard was very good. I was disappointed that it didn 't have the traditional bavarian cream filling, but... More

They really are known for their donuts, they make the best coconut, chocolate covered ones! They have other great pastries as well. The soup isn't bad, though I don't think homeade and the bread for the sandwiches is not homeade either. The meats are kinda cheap looking and store bought, little disappointing for a meal.

Forget Tim Hortons' mass produced dough balls and eat here - the most amazing donuts anywhere. Cream filled are my faves and if you eat here you will never eat a Tims again.

I've driven past this place too many times to count over the years and finally made a stop last year. I have been missing out!! I have now stopped here a few times and tried some soups, sandwiches and many donuts. The soups and sandwiches are your typical fare, they are made from scratch with fresh bread so a bonus... More

I stop here every time I can when traveling between Edmonton & Calgary. The beef stew in a bread bowl & Boston cream donut are my favorite. A bit pricey but you pay for the quality. Sandwiches are good here too although they use processed meats.

Watch your step, nearly lost my toes. Went in twice over the weekend, had some delicious donuts, and a fab scone. Also had a ham breakfast sandwich, which wasn't so good. Donut selection was at about 3/4 of available options, and I wanted one they didn't have. Still good, I'd go again.
