Went here for lunch with a friend. Each of us had the Bison burger. It was falling apart which was fantastic. I say this only because most of the time bison can be really dry. The waitress talked us into trying their dipper samplers for our fries. It came with saskatoon aioli, gravy, and saskatoon bbq sauce. I have to... More

My husband and daughter and I did a random drop in to Roosters-a new restaurant in Red Deer, which is apparently the same owners/management as Heritage Ranch and it was AMAZING!! The service was unbeatable and I am still thinking about how delicious our meals were. They had a GREAT kids meal deal also. Now the best part was that... More

Our first dinner visit, the atmosphere is lovely and waitress very friendly. Prices very high but thought it would be worth the cost. Glass of wine $15 and beer $7.50, okay a bit high but okay. I had the Wild mushroom soup that was like eating gravy and I ate 1/2 of it for eating a bowl of gravy was... More

I had booked a large party for a business dinner on Friday night. . It waant too busy but we liked the rustic decor that had a western twist. Wine selection was great and the food pairing was delicious. There was a variety of menu items like the duck breast, sirloin and award winning rib eye steak glazed with maple... More

Her for lunch with my Mom for her birthday. Complimentary crime brûlée was a nice touch. Service was nice. Great table with a view. I noticed that the owner responds to all reviews! Obviously cares about customer service.

Nice atmosphere in the upper dining room. Curried prawns and various shots of dip were unique and tasty. Beef brisket was too pricey for what we got. Tough. the sides (potatoes and veggies) were perfectly done. Lamb was awesome

Thanks for the honesty on that. We have been working hard on our brisket. It's best fresh out of the smoker and we will be removing it from the menu until we get it right. Let me know when you are coming next time and I'll ensure we make it up to you. Cheers Joel joel@heritageranch.ca More
