We were happily surprised to find such a great diner inside this older setting. Fast and friendly service. Small menu but it's filled with local foods prepared in house. The eggs benidict were perfect. We'll be back to try one of their famous cinnamon buns......oh and the weekly supper specials too!!

This was our second time to visit Highlevel Diner. We discovered it last year when looking for a gluten free restaurant while staying overnight in Edmonton. So this year when we had 1 night to stay in Edmonton, we knew where we had to go. This restaurant, found in the Garneau district, is very popular with all ages -- my... More

Delicious brunch. Friendliest servers. Full of U of A students and families with kids. I didn't like branching until I went there

What a great little diner tucked away at the south side of Edmonton's high level bridge! Stopped in for a business lunch, lucky to get a table without wait, unlike the folks in the line-up that formed after we arrived. The service was great, with friendly, attentive wait staff. The food was amazing, Truly an up-scale diner, yet still offers... More

Great breakfast spot. Walk to the restaurant if you can, parking is brutal and they patrol the area often. Cinnamon buns are worth driving across town for, no joke.

There was a long line up but it went quickly. It was Mother's Day brunch so we expected that. We chose to sit outside on the "patio". It was closed in by plastic, this allowed the sun in but kept the wind out. There was a heater as well in case we were cold. The sun came out when we... More

During our trip to Edmonton we were looking for a good breakfast place and we decided to give this place a go, due to the positive reviews and the que of people outside. The place looks like an antique store inside, very dark with a mishmash of furniture and decor (from my point of you not appealing). The menu was... More

This restaurant is well situated by the old iron bridge over the Athabasca. The staff were friendly and eager to please, the restaurant itself slightly fifties retro. There was a menu for gluten intolerants, so I opted for that. Actually, what I got was a gf burrito with a fairly indifferent rice and beans combo. But the choice of wine... More

The nacho chips were fresh and tasty. How many times in the past have you bitten into a nacho and thought. Damn these are stale. The Nacho chips at the high level diner couldn't have tasted fresher or better than any I've had in the past. The Nacho were made at the diner. And we're very fresh and tasty The... More

This place is busy!!! It is very popular near the university, so expect to wait for a table. The food and service was great. I love to try out different hot chocolates and it was wonderful. It was a cold afternoon in Edmonton, so it was perfect.
