Expensive, small portions, cramped seating and they don't serve coffee or tea. Food is just ok. All the hard surfaces make conversation nearly impossible when it's full. There are way better choices downtown.

We ordered 2 different starters (cabbage & blooms), 2 main dishes (salmon & chicken ) and 2 desserts. We thoroughly enjoyed what we ate. The cocktail I ordered was not on the menu but was made fantastically, wine is pricey so we didn't bother. Don't...More

Good place overall. Good decor and look. Drinks are great, particularly their old fashions. Food is expensive, and was overall decent, but nothing fantastic for the price point. Certainly recommend going for cocktails.

This afternoon four ladies joined the wood for a well needed cocktail. We had made the reservations a week in advanced to make sure we had place knowing how great it was. Unfortunately, the bartender was not welcoming and showed zero passion. We asked for...More

This was our first and last meal in Edmonton on our recent vacay. Food, beverage and service were both outstanding.

Four of us tried to have dinner here at the same time but when our pork came to us barely cooked, we needed to send it back. The other couple was served dessert before we even had our meal returned to us. The food was...More

We went in for cocktails and a snack and were happy with what we ordered. I would recommend the frites. We did find the menu wasn't extensive and was somewhat expensive but that said the cocktails were awesome! The service was very good as well.

I also found this review which gives some pricing. Not sure when it was written but it matches what I remember. A favourite on both trips was the brassica kale salad ($13), in which the sturdy greens are massaged first in... More
