I really enjoy the quality food here. If you are looking to take away, this place is great. However, the sit-down service is atrocious. I've come here sporadically over the past couple years, always hoping it will get better. Last week the server brought me my coffee but never brought my lunch. They completely forgot and it wasn't the first... More

After picking up coffee at Credo, my friend and I decided to try some baked goods at Dauphine bakery. Between the two of us, we purchased a number of baked goods worth well over the cost of our coffee, plus tip, and decided to sit in their virtually empty shop to eat our pastries. I was actually considering buying a... More

Popped in off the street market. Great selection of yummy goodies. Decent price as well. We sat at a table and were told we couldnt because we didnt order entrees or wait to be served. No signs declaring this however. Frustrating if you just want pastries

The food here is REALLY good. REALLY really good. Fabulous sandwiches, amazing soup, a croque monsieur to die for, and breakfast... oh, the breakfast. The Eggs Benedict. The pastries, the hot chocolate.... gorgeous. And the lemon tart (we had lunch too, this wasn't all at breakfast!). And the chocolate cake (bought to take home!)... one of the best we've ever... Dauphine is a treasure hidden downstairs on 104 and 101 just off Jasper Avenue. Soup and sandwiches are flavourful and accompanied by freshly baked breads.Quiche and salads are delectable. Desserts are made in house and offer a varied selection of unusually beautifully presented treats at a reasonable price. The lemon current scones are the best I have ever tasted. Fresh... More

Regularly swing by for pastries to go or lunch. Love their butter tarts (light, flaky crust), scones, ham/cheese brioche or quiche/salad for lunch. Downside? In the summer it is super hot to dine in.

My partner and I happened on this bistro by chance when out walking and looking for a lunch place while visiting Edmonton. I think they should place their sandwich board outsideon the sidewalk and not just inside the door where it was placed on the day we discovered the bistro. More people would then see that the establishment exists and... More

Went to this trendy cafe with some colleagues yesterday for lunch. Service was slow, the item I ordered was not available and worse of all it was expensive. $18 for two bowls of soup and some tea. Won't be back

I walked by Duphine's on my lunch break. The smells from the open door drew me in. I looked around at the display and everything looked so good! I decided to have my late lunch there before I headed back to work. It took me 10 mins to get a menu, and another 10 minutes to get someone to take... More

Stopped in at Dauphine for lunch while shopping at the downtown Farmer's Market. What a terrific find! Enjoyed an amazing egg salad and avocado sandwich on a wonderful, freshly baked grain bread. The cup of coffee was above average, too. I understand they get their beans from Credo coffee shop across the street. Everything from soup, sandwiches, savoury pot pies... More
