My wife and I went here for our "Dinner and a movie" date. When you walk in you can see by the decor that this is a serious restaurant, with a very attractive and modern decor. It just screams "high cuisine". The impression is not false. We had a reservation and were seated in a very nice table location. There... More

I went to this restaurant with a friend. The waiter explained the approach of this restaurant which is some form of family dining - large portions. We ordered the grilled Caesar salad, roasted Brussels sprouts and the Branzino. The salad was find but nothing special. The Branzino was perfectly cooked and delicious. I should have sent the Brussels sprouts back... More

Vivo is definitely one of the best restaurants in Edmonton. We were able to enjoy Vivo again in mid-June to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The servers are knowledgeable and professional and take the time to explain the dishes when they are brought to the table. The caprese salad, fetuccini al formaggio, and beef tenderloin are our favourite dishes to order.... More

On a recent visit to Edmonton to visit our daughter, we were recommended this restaurant because of its 'family' style Italian cuisine. Located in the West end of Edmonton, the restaurant offered a unique style approach. The food was ok, nothing spectacular but noting really to complain about. We started with a Caesar salad. The romaine lettuce was 'almost whited'... More

We rented the private room which was good for about 10 people. We did the family style food which was ok. There was lots of food and a decent amount of left overs. The risotto was nothing special. Lots of mushrooms which I was ok with but a lot of people weren't. Not a ton of flavor though. The pasta... More

When visiting Edmonton I was taken to this restaurant in a somewhat obscure location in West Edmonton suburbia. As explained by the waiter, the food is served family style. The Caesar Salad was my favourite with local source baby romaine heads lightly grilled sprinkled with shavings of Parmensan served with grilled lemons. The serving board was so heavy the waiter... This is Italian family dining at its finest. No doubt, it's expensive, but definitely a great special occasion spot. Book far in advance. We started with Pallame Pate - the brioche was beyond amazing and I could have eaten a jar of the apple and ginger mostarda! Next was a wild mushroom risotto - yummy, followed by Filleto de Manzo... It was only yesterday that I had heard of this restaurant, as my family were dining out for my mother's birthday. We enter the restaurant and my first thought was: "How is it I never heard of this really nice place... or noticed it?!" The interior has a very modern, elegant feel, and the menu, which has a bit of... More

First time here, but found out the restaurant has been here for almost 5 years!! I want to compliment the server, he was attentive but not overwhelming and he kept the meal at a very relaxed pace which was so very enjoyable!! The restaurant concept is based on dishes to share and the waiter was very good at explaining how... More
