Great dining experiences are worth repeating. We were a large party and the food was exacting to the same high standard it always is. Same can be said for service. Sincerely, I don't know how they do it but am grateful they do. And please, don't ever stop!!

for a group of 8 family members, Bistro Praha gave us a wonderful dining delight. Because we were celebrating, the staff helped with menu selection and recommended a great champagne for toasting. The menu was full of delicious choices and we all enjoyed the dishes we chose. My favorite has always been the Wiener schnitzel cordon bleu and it did... More

I can't say enough good about this place. From the warm welcome, attentive service, wonderful food, charming ambiance to the reasonable prices. They do it all well because they follow the kiss principle. Decide what you want to be and stick to the knitting. This is our 3rd visit... we try to dine here every time we visit Edmonton. My... The food was excellent and the portions were huge. I highly recommend the place for those who like the home-cooking of Prague and surrounding countries. The wiener schnitzel is huge and well-prepared but my favorite is the trout. The place has great Czeh beer.

Fast, relaxing , very courteous, and good food and nice wine. Pleasant seating and polite service. The Weiner schnitzel is always excellent.

The Bistro Praha has been in Edmonton for years and about two years in the current location. It is a small cozy plan with excellent ambiance. Staff are super friendly and provide just the right amount of service. limited but varied menu with choices for everyone.

It feels like a family run European restaurant. We were welcomed warmly and served very efficiently. We opted for salads (Alena and one with prosciutto) for starters. Both were fresh and brilliantly yet simply presented and composed. Our mains were the Wiener schnitzel and the Cikanska. The former was good (a little too much oil for my liking) but the... More

I've been going to the Bistro Praha since I was a teenager, and it remains the place I take friends from out of town for warm and welcoming comfort foods: incredible schnitzel, amazing crepes/palacsinta, and the best beef tartare I've had, hands down. (If you're looking for a lighter meal or snack, the fried breaded cheese is a particular weakness... More

I ate at the Bistro Praha for many years before I left Edmonton for the east and was so pleased to see it was still in existence, albeit in a downtown different location. Many of the foods remained the same and it has not lost its charm. I understand it is still a leading food establishment and judging by the... More

Not sure why we had such a different experience that others, but the food was not great. We were there during the goulash event, and it was very disappointing. The chicken had been cooked separate from the paprika based sauce, and the pasta that came with it was cold. The paprika sauce was very limited in flavor. The other goulash... More
