Had breakfast here this morning. I was quite impressed with the bakery display. The cinnamon rolls tasted awesome. I ordered eggs Benedict but was not impressed. It was very salty and the English muffin was hard. The hash were really greasy. I gave it a 4 rating as the atmosphere and the coffee drinks were excellent. I did not feel... More

An unique luncheon experience. Choose from a variety of freshly baked breads to have for your sandwich. Select from a menu of different items to have on your sandwich, such as spreads, meats, garnishes. Half or full sandwiches are offered and can be combined with your choice of soup from soups of the day. Place and pay for your order... More

The menu is big the food is fantastic and sometimes the place seems impossibly busy. If you want great food go where everyone goes but bring your patience with you. Have a cup of coffee and get your face out of your phone for a visit. Enjoy.

We went to this cafe on the recommendation of our Airbnb host. We liked it so much that we ate there two mornings in a row! It's obviously a local favourite as it was bustling with customers both times including a large contingent of runners & cyclists. The lattes were delicious & the omelettes excellent! You get to choose what... More

............holy crap how long does it take to make a few sandwiches, we honestly waited at least 30 mins for a takeaway sandwich which for me is totally unacceptable - we took it to a quiet spot and enjoyed it - it was ok at best, really wish we'd gone for pizza round the corner which is always excellent Rob

I went to this place with my friends for brunch. The place was busy but we were able to get a table right away. I ordered eggs benny and a coffee latte. They both were really good. The eggs benny came with hash brown and fresh fruits. My friends seemed to enjoy their food too. One of them ordered french... More

Two couples and 2 infants stopped for lunch after a walk along the river. The restaurant was moderately busy but not noisey or crowded. Tuna melt served with lovely salad of mixed greens was very tasty and fresh. Portions are substantial in size, my husband and I shared one sandwich. Soup mediocre, quesadias good.

At the lazy loaf and kettle here in Calgary the sandwiches are very amazing you can build your own. With a side of soup or salad. I got a grilled chicken sandwich with cheddar cheese, lettuce and pickles. ( you can choose a sauce or butter but.. I'm not a big sauce guy so I got it plain) the bread... More

It seems like things have changed since I last visited a number of years ago. Overall, not so congenial. It felt rather stark. It might have been that there was only one other person there but, I remember this place being more active and cozy. The breakfast was bland. It didn't have anything to make me want to come back.

My daughter and I dropped in for lunch on the may long weekend. We love the sandwiches, which you choose your own toppings and make whatever combo you like. Their homemade bread is so delicious! They also have a great assortment of homemade desserts. I've been eating here for about 16 years and have never been disappointed. It's more of... More
