Don't let the title fool you, you do get what you pay for here. My wife and I dropped into this place in downtown Calgary after a meeting at the Delta hotel on a beautiful, cool Remembrance Day. We were attracted by a signboard outside advertising a small charcuterie board special. There were only ten customers for lunch since this... More

Best meal I had in a long time. Perfect atmosphere for friends getting together. The ambiance is relaxed and the music is perfect for quiet conversation. The food was perfect, we had the croquettes as an appetizer. Some of us had beef tenderloin. For desert we shared the ice cream trio, lemon curd with bluberries, and sticky toffee pudding. Amazing... Our dinner at the belvedere was a really a great one. All of the foods from appetizers to desserts were all superb - delicious! And of course it's so nice to be served by friendly and courteous staffs and that really matters.. the restaurant itself is really beautiful, romantic and so appealing... we'll for sure come back! Thanks a lot... More

We went for dinner on a Wednesday night. We literally had the whole dining room as well as the server, an apprentice server and the maitre d to ourselves! We enjoyed our creative appies (oysters on the half shell with some uncommon dips, including a terrific red pepper kimchi, and a steak tartare). The highlight was the pork belly dish... More

We started a two week western road trip in Calgary and dinner at the Belvedere was our launch point. Labour Day weekend and Stephen Ave was hopping but not the Belvedere!? Dinner and service was really great but for two points: they could not serve a rum and coke because they were out of CO2 and his filet mignon was... More

We decided to look up fine dining in calgary and found this little gem and we had to go. Arriving at 730 pm, we did notice it was basically empty but what the hell, we were seated. We ordered some duck ( my first time trying ) and some bread - which is sour dough I belive. ( not like... More

We went to Belvedere to celebrate our daughter's graduation and it is our go to restaurant for special celebrations. Every time, we have a lovely evening where the food is excellent and the service isn't rushed. A couple of times we've had the tasting menu which was stellar but you have to make sure you're really hungry. Fantastic place for... More

This establishment is first class. We love to visit for their happy hour after work but this time we stayed for dinner. We had the rack of lamb and it was phenomenal. Served with eggplant and tomatoe mint salad the flavour combinations were exquisite and the meal was superb. If you're looking for an exceptional dining experience don't hesitate. The... More

Located in the heart of the touristy Stephen St, it's an easy walk from our hotel Westin downtown. This is a special place and worth the $. Menu is wonderful featuring locally sourced food. I really enjoyed the wild mushroom risotto and my husbands sirloin was so tender and cooked exactly to order. They also have a nice selection of... More

We chose this place based on what we saw people eating as we walked by. They have a nice outdoor seating area, and it was a beautiful evening. Daniel was a great server and was nice to talk to. I never felt rushed even though I know we took up more of his time than we should have. We were... More
